seriously who is this clown? smell like a man man! Why can't EA Sports get some real announcers? Collinsonworth is just as boring if not worse than what Al Michaels was when teamed with John Madden!

Well the whole thing is a script, so you can blame EA, once again, for that one. And Gus Johnson is one of the more exciting announcers in the NFL. Still love that Titans game.

I love Gus in real life, but he sounds pretty bad in this game. The audio team did a very poor job with scripting the commentary. It doesn't flow at all.

Nobody seemed to like the dry, monotone Hammond. So EA brought in the enthusiastic Johnson.

Trouble is, Johnson's enthusiastic at the wrong times: "HE'S got the FIRST down"...

It's the sound dept's fault.The commentary doesn't flow at all.It's like the recorded lines were cut and pasted into the game.

Take a listen to NBA 2k11 and you'll see how it's supposed to be done.

as others have said, you cant blame Gus, its the script EA gave him, but you better believe hes a hel of a lot better than hammond, i had to baker-act myself becuz of that guy, he depressed me so bad

I think Gus is terrible and so is Collinsworth, but also the scripts they are given, you cant script excitement. it doesnt work when you put it in a game. I think they need different crews of announcers, like the monday night gang is the announcers you would actually here on monday night. and sunday night games are the sunday night crew. and then just have the announcers watch around 100 games and have them do live commentary to a game. so they would have all the side chatter and react to how the game is going so they could talk about how things where happening earlier in the game, and it change the excitement, so its exciting when it needs to be.

Btw, did anybody else see that spoof of Michaels and Collinsworth on SNL last week? They also showed it Sunday night during the game on NBC. It was hilarious!

Do people really think that the announcers make up the lines themselves? Gus Johnson is a great announcer, but EA made him look horrible
