I am 0-2 with the Manhattan Jaspers right now. Lost to those powerhouses Pepperdine and Old Dominion. Recruiting wise looks good to add much needed depth, I have 10 scholly's available which should tell you how deep this team is.

        Re: Hows your dynasty going?

Their was a thread but it probably dropped off the list because no one posted in it recently.

I'm 3-1 in a brand new Rutgers' dynasty. I'm actually doing a offline dynasty thread for it on another forum.

              Re: Hows your dynasty going?

Manhattan is off the schneid with a 44-39 victory over Texas Southern Tigers. Manhattan now 1-2 on the year riding the coattails of senior point guard Darryl Crawford (17.0ppg, 4apg). RPI now sits at #209.

Next up is the Stetson Hatters.

Finally a big win with a warm up the bus. Beat Stetson 55-38 as we completely slowed down the up tempo team. PG Darryl Crawford (77 ovr) was player of the game with 16 points and 9 assists. SF Andrew Gabriel (72 ovr) scorched the the first half shooting 6/8 from the field and finished with 16 points and 5 rebs.

Next for the Jaspers is a tough opponent in the Central Florida Knights.

                      Re: Hows your dynasty going?

The Jaspers at home use an early 9-0 run to beat the Central Florida Knights 68-60. Both teams shot above 50% from the field but it was the slowing of tempo and going inside for kickouts for 3 that helped Manhattan win its 3rd straight. Player of the game PG Daryl Crawford (77 ovr) had 27 points and 8 rebs although 8 points came from UCF fouling at the end. Overall the Jaspers had 4 players in double figures and look to build momentum as the MAAC season fast approaches.

Next up for the Jaspers is the Charlotte 49ers at home.

                        Re: Hows your dynasty going?

I have a dynasty where I am at St. John's in my second year with them, 6th overall. Had a lot of fun last year with this dynasty and game but I have really gotten into 2k11 and don't know how much I will like this game again. But I might just have to start this game up again.

I am running a Toledo Rockets dynasty and I'm on to the MAC schedule and looks like I may run the table in the conferance. 18-5 so far
                          Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

                              Re: Hows your dynasty going?

After a furious 2nd half comeback, the Jaspers fall short of their 4th straight victory and lose to the Charlotte 49ers 73-69. Manhattan's furious full court press from 10min rem in the second half closed the lead from what was once a 14 point lead to as close as 3. Both teams shot well from the field as well (49% UNCC, 48% MC).

                              Players of the game were:
                              UNCC - SG Ian Andersen (76 ovr) - 25 pts, 5 rebs, 5 3's, 9/17 fg
                              MC - PG Darryl Crawford (77 ovr) - 24 pts, 9 asst, 11/17 fg

Up next for the Jaspers is the Coppin State Eagles, which with the way the Jaspers have been playing should be an easy win.

The Jaspers Atheletic Director also announced the following have committed to the Jaspers next year:

                              3* SG John Abrams (6' 4") - Front Royal, VA - 10.5ppg, 3.9rbg, 41.9% 3pt%, #76 rated SG (good backup potential)

3* SG Jerome Gardner (6' 4") - Clearwater, FL - 17.5ppg, 4.1rbg, 8.0apg, 42.5% 3pt%, #69 rated SG (plan to play the point with him a great potential Crawford replacement)

                              3* SG Ray Griffith - (6' 1") - Henry, SD - 20.4ppg, 2.8rpg, 7.6apg, 36.2% 3pt%, #46 rated SG (potential starting SG next year)

                              3* C Rick Muller (6' 10") - Helena, MT - 10.8rpg, 4.9bpg, 7.4rpg, #24 rated C (a nice defensive big man)

The recruits complete 2/4 tasks given to Coach Pielet (sign a 3* recruit, sign a 3* center). One we won't hit this year (sign a 3* SF) as none were interested. We are currently watching big men in pipeline states for our other task (sign a C+ rebounding rated recruit).

Overall a good start and our backcourt recruiting is done and we can concentrate on the front court with 40 points remaining (Thanksgiving timeframe right now).
