NFC Wild Card: Saints @ Seahawks

    Ugh, gross.

Saints are going to destroy the Seahawks in every sense of the word.

If the Saints don't win by 5 touchdowns, I would honestly be surprised.

That SEA/STL game was just horrendous. I want the Saints to win by 50.

Bush had a big game against Tampa and didn't get the chance to play against Carroll earlier in the season...just putting that out their
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning

Based on what? Seattle can't run, they can't pass, and their D is mediocre at best.

              Exactly.

I know there's trendy sleeper picks but this shouldn't be one of them. Seattle is atrocious.

I think Seattle is going to win also. If they weren't at home I say they would lose by 20+ but the home field for Seattle is a powerful thing.

With the 12th man, anything can happen.

Too bad the Seahawks would need 15 men to have a chance against the Saints.

Seattle will be helped by being at home, but they've honestly gotten worse since the last time they played the Saints. I think this game ends up being a 14-20 point loss for Seattle. Not quite as bad as people think, but still the Seahawks won't look like anything special.

It's not like the Saints destroyed us when we played them earlier in the season. We had a shot in that game. There's zero doubt that the Saints are a better team, but hey, anything can happen. I think it's entirely possible that we pull off the upset, especially at home. Then again, it could also go like the Giants game where they came to Qwest and obliterated us. But whatever the case, it'll be fun to see a playoff game again.

This is the early NBC game, so if it's Tom Hammond and Theismann again, I won't even bother with it.

EDIT: It's Hammond and Mike Mayock. I have no idea if Mayock is any good, but Hammond is atrocious.

5 TD's? You'd be surprised if Seattle doesn't lose by 35 points? C'mon man. lol. The Saints only won 34-19 the first time around.

Anyway I'll say this: If the Browns can beat the Saints, so can the Seahawks. Especially being at home in arguably the toughest stadium to play at in football.

That said, I don't think it'll happen. I think the Saints win going away. Seahawks keep it somewhat close until mid-late in the 3rd.

As I said in the Sunday night thread: I'm excited. I'm hoping to get some tickets and go down to Seattle for the game. Hoping we can move on to the next round!
