Pretty much this about the running game, get that going and the chances we win no matter who were playing are pretty good.

I think people are giving too much credit to the Seahawks for playing at home imo, the Saints lost 2 road games this year one to the Cardinals that was pretty much a fluke almost and the other in a close game to a playoff Ravens team. Plus they only lost once on the road last year and that was when they rested their starters. I trust this veteran team to focus on the road in the playoffs

I could careless what people think of my teams, assuming you were talking to me lol. Just stating the facts sense it seems that Seattle is a very trendy pick because they are at home.

Saints players always seem to play the no respect card tho, whatever works for them I suppose.

Home teams always get SOME benefit of the doubt, especially in the playoffs so you really shouldn't be shocked at people picking them.

I'm actually surprised so many here have picked Seattle. I'd figure every post would be New Orleans in a blowout. OS likes to pick the heavy favorite and call it a day before the teams ever play. Me, I've seen too many times a heavy favorite fall flat. Underdogs always seem to play their best and at least keep it close, if not win the game to boot. Plus, with everyone crying over the NFC West division winner not only making the playoffs but OMFG hosting a playoff game, I'd like to see them knock off their first round opponent. I don't have anything against the Saints and I'm glad they got their Super Bowl last year and had a good year again in '10-'11, but I want the 'Hawks to show that once you make the postseason, it doesn't matter what happened in the first 17 weeks. I'm not looking forward to everyone saying the only reason SEA won is because NOR was on the road when they should've been in the dome, though... if it turns out that way.

11 people have picked Seattle to lose. Not exactly a trendy or popular pick on here.

I think what he meant is it was expected that everyone but Seahawks fans would pick the Saints.

I read as if you were betting on them, I guess it meant you were picking them.

He doesn't think the Saints are going to win by 11+ points, so he's betting under.

Don't feel too bad. I'm always confused on that type of stuff. The terminology seems backwards.

There's no way a "loud stadium" matters in this game. The Saints have too much talent. There's no way.

If you're betting on Seattle they don't have to win. Just lose by less than 11.
24-13 Saints = Saints win in terms of bet.
24-16 Saints = Seattle win in terms of bet.

But the Saints beat the falcons by 3, and vice versa in OT and have proven to be almost equal atleast this season. Didn't know playing at home/road these days in the NFL made that huge of a difference, which I don't buy any good team can/will win anywhere.

For the record, all nine of the Hawks losses this season have been by 15 or more points.
