I have a sneaking suspicion
That dynasty mode will get no improvements. Which will cause me not to buy the game. Dynasty mode is the reason that 75% of us play this game and last year was a beta version. Especially online dynasty mode. I'm loving the new things that I'm hearing especially with defense but i'm still terrified. I feel like they are going to hit us with the "We'll fix it next year tag" like the madden team does.Tags: None -
Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
from the Gameplay blog today:
"That’s just a few of the gameplay improvements in NCAA Football 12 that I know will enhance your experience. Stay tuned for Part 2 of this blog for more information regarding tackling (add-ons and stealing tackles), as well as new and improved defensive zone logic.
Additional information will be released soon, including announcements about your favorite features like Dynasty and Road to Glory!" -
Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
The way it sounds, RTG got the major overhaul this year, which was much needed in my opinion. I would be that Dynasty won't see the major changes of RTG, but I would expect at least some minor tweaks or additions."Do or do not, there is no try."

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
But for Dynasty, if they add Coaching Carousel and improve recruiting, it is a big improvement. Since Custom Playbooks is in, if CC is in I will love Dynasty.Comment

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
There were also huge bugs that absolutely crippled online dynasties that were never fixed with patches.
I had high hopes for the dynasty mode but I found it could not be sustained last year and I am very wary this year. If they fix dynasty mode this may be the greatest football game ever.Comment

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
I actually think quite the opposite. I think somthing huge is in the works for RTG and Dynasty. I think that's why it's the last announcement. We're getting.CFB: Ohio State, FSU
CBB: DUKIE BLUE DEVILS!!!!!!!
NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers
If you can't tell I LOVE DUKE!!!!!!!!Comment

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
I dont think it will be the last one though. Compared to Madden's schedule, There Franchise/SS blog is right after the PResentation/gameplay blogComment

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
From what I have seen this game looks like an update more then a new game. Yes they have fixed a few things but i still am not convinced to spend another 60 bucks. I have bought every year since 1999 and I am really debating it this year.Comment

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
I really hope RTG isnt the main focus since alot more people plat dynasty then RTG. They are lots of stuff they could add to dynasty to make it much better.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
Unlike Madden's bare bones online franchise, Dynasty mode should be getting some upgrades if this insert from a NCAA 12 blog is implying it. Posted by Roy Harvey at 12:21PM on Monday, April, 18, 2011 :"......Finally, with regards to online, the response to NCAA Football 11’s online dynasty mode has been outstanding, so expect some interesting news here in as we get closer to launch." http://www.ea.com/ncaa-football/blog/welcome-backComment

Re: I have a sneaking suspicion
Lol out of all the years to debate buying it you choose this year? Heck this is the only year I have pretty much liked everything they have said an added. Not like the past few years where they have added crap like 120 ways to play and ect.... EA really stepped it up this year from what we've seen an there is still more to comeComment
