Re: MLB 11 The Show Rosters - Operation Sports Full Minors (Opening Day Set)
You should check out my roster update that I posted here. I used OSFMv2 with Beckham's stances, RunandShoot's equipment edits and Bamafan's pitch edits from RAZR's 2010 edits. Is there going to be an update during the halway point of the season? Just to tweak some more things like prospects/and current MLB players?
EDIT: By the way.. LOVE THIS its so good to be able to use prospects that are real people.. adds so much to the game.... the only thing is Bryce Harper is too good for an 18 year old in my opinion.. Should tweak him a little bit
As for Bryce Harper, you will probably think he's rated too highly, as well as some other players. If you want players to be able to play how they actually play, that's going to happen, especially with players who are 5 tool players. I couldn't care less about simulation stats because there's no way that you're ever going to get accurate simulation results, unless it's by random chance. The simulation results have never been accurate on The Show. Since MLB 10, they've been even more random than they used to be.Last edited by Jason_19; 05-28-2011, 05:12 PM.Comment

Is there a set with the OSFM and pitch edits but that no ratings have been touched. I like stock ratingsYou should check out my roster update that I posted here. I used OSFMv2 with Beckham's stances, RunandShoot's equipment edits and Bamafan's pitch edits from RAZR's 2010 edits.

Not that I know of. You might want to try them. You might like them. They're immensely more accurate that SCEA's default ratings. Plus, I've edited a ton of things for MiLB players. If you don't like them, then you've only wasted a few minutes.Last edited by Jason_19; 05-28-2011, 08:43 PM.Comment

They are good Jason...I restarted my franchise because of them. I recommend them...For those interested in Jason's re-rated roster based off of OSFM, I posted a franchise file that includes accurate opening day lineups, rotations and injuries at the OSFM Variation Set thread.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Rosters - Operation Sports Full Minors (Opening Day Set)
If Bryce came up and played in the MLB today hed get torched. Its just not normal for an 18 year old to be better than most guys in the league even if there named Bryce HarperComment

i added a rockies player who wasnt included in the OSFM, in the player vault.
Its Rockies prospect, Warren Schaeffer. Hes an infield utility god, can play anywhere in the infield. My Newport Falcons Football Dynasty (Teambuilder) (CFB25)

Re: MLB 11 The Show Rosters - Operation Sports Full Minors (Opening Day Set)
Same here. Bryce's ability right now is far superior to the majority of major league players. Of course he would have to adjust, but his ability to do so is seemingly greater than anyone who has played the game in close to a half century.
That's correct. A player like Harper only comes along every few decades, if that.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Rosters - Operation Sports Full Minors (Opening Day Set)
True he is excellent for an 18 year old.. but at the same time I like to keep my fantasy realistic and not have 18 year olds playing in the majors. I still think he should be just a little better than Mike Trout but good enough that he'll be the best in 2-3-4 yearsSame here. Re: MLB 11 The Show Rosters - Operation Sports Full Minors (Opening Day Set)
I've been looking thru the search and saw the threads about OSFM variations but I can't find the answer to this so if Knight or someone could help me out..
I was wondering what the best (or final) 40-man roster version of OSFM was. I know in the first few OSFM there were L/R issues and I know a bunch of people took Knights template and did stances etc.. but which was the most complete 40-man set of OSFM.
Thank you.

I'm not even a Bryce Harper fan, but the kid is unreal. Sorry, but 18 year olds just don't hit .331 11hrs an drive in 36rbis in a month an a half without being legit.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Rosters - Operation Sports Full Minors (Opening Day Set)
Exactly...I mean it's not like you can generalize him to an 18 year old, he is just that dang good, where his skill level IS better than a lot of major leaguers.
Im not sure how to put this in the nicest way, but you clearly know absolutely nothing about Bryce if that's what you think...Trout is great and all, but Bryce is miles ahead.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams
