Coach Carousel with your RTG Player?

Remember when you finished your career on Race for the Heisman, and you could choose to go the NFL or become a coach?

Well Imagine if you could do that on NCAA 12 with the new Coach Carousel!

After a legendary career at Florida you stick around to be on the coaching staff instead of going to the NFL, because you're not a prototypical NFL player *cough cough, Tim Tebow* or you just weren't good enough. Then you could eventually be the head coach and become even more legendary lol. OR go to a rival and say F-U to the Gators.. that's up to you tho.
Throw in some presentation talking about your decision and whether it was good or not, and BOOM! You've got an amazing video game...

I actually had the same thought today while day dreaming at work lol. Sadly I still have no interest in RTG, but it would be a nice feature to have.

All you have to do is create your RTG player as a coach and you can do everything the OP suggests

That is what I plan on doing.
So I can have something to do while I wait for rosters. With RTG only being 5 min quarters, it wont take much time to complete

Yeah, but I'd like to have an actual connection between the two. Have Kirk or somebody recap you're career and talk about your future as a coach at (insert school), instead of pursuing the NFL.

I bet we see it next year in 13 or 14 and they'll say it's a cool new feature when in fact it's just something that has been removed and put back into the game.

Never understood why they took it out, maybe it's just more of the EA thought of mind that players want things one way and don't want to have options available (go pro or coach, turn something on or off, etc.).

Then you could eventually be the head coach and become even more legendary lol. OR go to a rival and say F-U to the Mountaineers.. that's up to you tho.

only reason they wont do it is because, when do you ever see a player come straight out of college and become a coordinator? Yes it has alot of potential if lets says position coaches were in the game, but not straight to coordinator.

It's better than nothing.. In NCAA 06 you couldn't even be a coord, you had to be a head coach. At least we could do that much this year..

I agree, but Tebow is a lot more popular than Pat White is/ever was, therefore, he conveyed the example I was making better. He's relevant too, seeing as how he's still in the NFL..

or if you dont coach at your ala mater right away, you get offers from really small schools , aka EMU and such for a OC/DC position!
that would be awesome
