I've been very vocal on this but I will say it again!

I absolutely HATE not having a choice! If I had a choice and I made the decision to buy the game, then these problems arose, I wouldn't have grounds to say anything would I.

This is so piss poor and should be a complete embarrassment to them. I want an apology, timeframe, and the problems resolved. Is that too much to ask?

Im with you, im still waiting on a direct acknowledgement from EA. Anything else is hearsay.

So we've confirmed that if we use default rosters and just auto-generate names, nothing changes on the default rosters, right?

Also, recruits do change, regardless if you edit them, is that also right?

This problem is a big deal, but I have played the game since deleting the roster. This game plays pretty good. I know the rosters are a huge deal, but EA also needs to have a list out soon of what will be in the patch before this site goes nuts. Fix the roster, the deep ball issue (I see it a little less with non-named rosters) and other things and this will be the best game in the current gen.

I'm sure EA is working on a patch, but what i worry about is.....if the "morons" on OS keep bugging them they may say " to hell with it " & we may not get a patch ( see NCAA Basketball 10 )

That's not true! There was a guy that posted screenshots of his dynasty a few pages back. He used the default rosters & auto-generated names. After the 1st season in that dynasty the tendencies for several players had changed. He didn't edit anything about the players either. It affects auto-generated rosters as well. It's not just about custom named rosters. Thanks!

I'm sure EA is working on a patch, but what i worry about is.....if the "morons" on OS keep bugging them they may say " to hell with it " & we may not get a patch ( see NCAA Basketball 10 )

I think part of that was because they knew NCAA 10 would be the last basketball game they were doing. If they were to try that crap with this game then they would get a lot of costly backlash IMO.

I said that recruits that are on your board as one player type will change once you pass the Cut Players section in Dynasty and they go onto your roster. They will change like the ones do on the edited player rosters.

BUT* the players from the original default roster that are still on your team and have not graduated yet WILL REMAIN THE SAME. So example #16 QB on Michigan will stay a Scrambling QB throughout his career at Michigan as long as you dont edit him and you used the default rosters when you made the Dynasty.

So in summury if you use the default rosters the default roster players will stay the same until the graduate, but recruited players will have they tendancies altered once they hit your full roster in Week 1 of the next season. (their freshmen season)

Do they owe us a patch? Yes. Do they owe you an I'm sorry? Heck no. We can either buy the game or not buy it. Options are good, but we have never had many options at the college football video game level, so my point is counting on it to happen now is a waste of time. I want to thank whoever put up those screen shots on dynasty mode. That is really good to know.

Though this game is all types of F'ed up, it's not unplayable. One just can't enjoy the game from a "technical" standpoint. Sure, I'm now confined to playing with fake names, low ankle socks, and 1970's elbow pads, but isn't this where the game was going 4-5 years into our Dynasty. Yet, I'm tipping my hat to EA, bc they know how to sell overpriced demos to ppl like me. What really sucks is that even if it took EA one day to fix the issue, it still takes around 3 weeks for xbox to approve it. At this point I feel as if I'm wainting on the re-release of NCAA 12. No worries, until they sort of these "technical issues" I will be playing my College Football 2k12 by 2k sports. Wait! What? that doesn't exist, oh well c'est la vie.

this is what going on right now...some of the dev team members are now on vacation in Hawaii, the Caribbeans or Mexico, which they paid with our money while we are stuck with an half made product they have developed...

The recruit issue? Yes happens if you use named rosters, default rosters with auto naming or default rosters with no auto naming.

They ONLY difference at this point between using say the Community Rosters from Carson and the default rosters is that for the first 4 years of your Dynasty the players on the default rosters will stay true to what they are. After the 4 year mark when all those players are gone (or 5 year mark I guess if some were redshirts) everything will be the same reguardless of if you used default rosters or named rosters.

You also have to take into account that EA thinks the freezing game glitch is related to corrupt roster database files. So if you use a named roster you could also end up getting that issue, though I used one for 3 seasons and have been fine so far.
