It was all about the total yardage for the Rams as they racked up over 500 yards of it. The run defense for St. Louis continues to struggle, and Sam Bradford looked sharp in his first game since losing to the Seahawks a year ago. Peyton Manning of the Colts, who is coming off neck surgery, showed that he is an Iron Man on the field. The Rams were forced to make their first set of cuts, as they said goodbye to HB Kevin Toston, WR Dominique Curry, and MLB Josh Hull.

Matt Hasselbeck continues to haunt the memories of Rams fans as he faced off against his former rivals. The Rams offense did little, as Sam Bradford didn't put up anything near good numbers, and the Rams had 62 yards total on the ground. Another set of cuts were made, as this time the Rams said goodbye to injured WR Mark Clayton, TE Fendi Onobun, C Drew Miller, and LE Eugene Sims. The Rams then signed C Kris O'Dowd to a 1 year deal worth $310K.

Same score, same story. Sam Bradford threw his first interception of the pre-season, and the Rams were out run by the Chiefs. Jamaal Charles, running back for Kansas City, ran the ball 23 times, racking up over 143 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns. If the Rams can't stop the run, it will be a long season.

The Rams took on rookie QB Blaine Gabbert and picked him off twice in their win. Sam Bradford threw a strike to Donnie Avery, and the Rams stopped Maurice Jones Drew and the Jaguars in the last preseason game. Now things get interesting from here. The Rams will now try and get through an early, grueling first half schedule to start the regular season. Will the Rams be able to take down the "Dream Team" Philadelphia Eagles Week 1? If the defense plays like they did today, it's possible. The Rams made their final cuts of the pre-season to get their roster down before the deadline.
