    Franchise Trade Review

I'm going to begin a Broncos franchise this week and I'd like to start playing the games around season 4 or 5. Honestly I really dislike the Broncos roster right now and want to make some changes. I have been reading on the boards that the franchise free agent and trading is still broken a bit. My thought is to start a thread where people can post trades and other users can say its fantasy or its real go ahead and make the move. Below are a couple of trades that I'm looking to make, feel free to give me your thoughts

Tebow and 4th round pick to the Jaguars for Gabbert
Moreno to the Packers for a 2nd round pick

I believe the Jags would be like "nah, you're alright" if offered that trade. No way they take a project like Tebow and a 4th for their potential franchise QB. The Moreno deal looks alright, maybe to a team that needs a back more than GB though.
    Yeah.

Wow... trades not even close. Tebow plus 2 1st wouldn't be enough for Gabbert.

And Mareno isn't worth a 2nd. I got rid of him in my Franchise and think I could only get a 5th out of him. He's always hurt and hasn't done anything in his career.

Also, there is another thread I've seen for this.

If you want realism, then you won't trade Tebow for anything more than a 5th round pick. Simply put, NO OTHER TEAM wants ANYTHING to do with Tebow.

As for trading Moreno, the only teams I can think of that would take him are the Colts, Lions, Cardinals, and Redskins. Of those teams, I would narrow it down to the Redskins and the Cardinals. Moreno is worth about a 3rd round pick and a future 4th.

Why would the 'Skins give up a 3rd and 4th for Moreno? Did you watch the game today? Have you seen Moreno play? What a joke

Why would either of those teams accept these trades? First off, the Jags didn't draft Gabbert as trade bait. He's "their" franchise quarterback. Moreno to the Packers makes no sense either, they have 3 backs there that they like already. If you want to rebuild, trade older players with huge contracts for 6th round picks, that's usually what happens. This free's up cap space and also allows you to sign players you want in free agency.

Yea, because one game today has any effect on a team in Madden...

he was saying moreno is trash and hasn't shown anything besides he's going to be out of the league by next year. No way any team gives more than a 5th round for moreno.

In real life? Yes. In Madden? Hell no!

Do you even play Madden? Moreno is terrific, and the Redskins RBs are well below average (Madden-wise). Giving them Moreno makes them better IN MADDEN, which helps make Franchise mode more competitive.

Sorry that you thought I was saying that Moreno should be traded to the Redskins IRL, no need to go on personal attacks

The first one is fair but unrealistic. Tebow and Gabbert have the same potential but Gabbert is younger.

                        The second one is good.

Moreno wouldn't go for more than a 4th or 5th most likely. RBs are in more supply than demand, and teams are not investing as high of draft capital in the position unless we're dealing with big time talent. With Moreno having struggled with injuries and not living up to a 1st round pick at all, I don't think a team would offer anything more than what I said. He's worth more to the Broncos than he is any other team simply because of what they invested in the guy. Look at Marshawn Lynch, he was a 1st round pick who struggled to stay on the field and play at a consistently high level. The Bills could not move him at all when they were asking for a 2nd or even a 3rd, and had to sell him for a 4th round pick from Seattle.

Can't really reply to the OP 'cause I don't have enought knowledge about the NFL, but I have a question of my own for the board and didn't want to start a new thread.

I started a 49ers franchise and was looking to get rid of Alex Smith. I know I can't get much, but I was looking for a pick, hopefully a 4th. Do you guys think a team could be interrested ?

Edit : Forgot to mention that I'm doing a 32-teams franchise but only playing as the niners. Just don't want to cheat the game.
