We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
You didn't talk about the new Hop Steps since Y is post up now. Are the only hopsteps now the ones that automatically go to layups? I loved pressing Y for a quick hop get great position in the post with a post player so how's that going to work this year?
Just how deep does this create a sig shot go? It is just one shot or can you sig every single shot you take from the field including the pick up dribble shots, faders, and leaners? And what about FTs?

I believe it's been touched on by people who've had hands on time. The hop is still there in some capacity, but mercifully it's been toned down and is no longer invincible.
Not sure what the button press is though, I thought I read in one impression that it was a two button press now?

For size-up dribbles, are they all going to look the same for everyone since we are controlling them now or are there still different "styles"?
I was wondering about just how "signature" the new isomotion is going to be. I definitely understood the limited variety in 2k11 giving that it was a brand new movement system being introduced.
Here's hoping there's some parity between Paul, Rondo, DWill, Wall, etc.
It should also be interesting to see how these animations are in the "Greatest" mode. 50s crossovers for the win.

Hop step is done on the stick but you can just hop step or continue into a shot/layup if you want. Almost everything can be broken out of... almost.
Different styles and timing. some guys are slow and others are faster.
Perfect so as an example if Im thinking about this correctly, some people will have crossovers that go infront of them and some will go between the legs, correct?
cool, so we can have both shot release feedback and shot grade feedback on at the same time?
Beluba, while you're here - I have an unrelated question, but it's something I've been meaning to ask about for a while now...it relates to the "2k cam" camera angle...this camera angle is almost perfect, but there is still one problem i have with it...when the ball is moved to the right or left side of the court, the other side of the court gets cut off and you can't see the players on the weak side...i would love it if you could zoom out the camera more, or have it so it doesn't pan over to follow the ball (so that no matter where the ball goes, you can always see the entire court and no players get cropped out of view)...it also happens when the ball goes into the paint and the camera moves in a bit, thus cropping out the perimeter players.
this is also annoying on fast breaks when you are running up the right side of the court, and you have a teammate on the left wing, but you can't see him because the camera is cutting him off...so you have to wait until he catches up and get's right near the hoop before you can see him come into view and pass off to him.
(in case you're going to ask...i have it the camera height as high as it can go, and i have it zoomed out as much as possible, yet it still cuts off large portions of the court depending on where the ball is).
is this an issue that can't be dealt with due to the game system not having the power to display too much of the crowd from being zoomed out?
