WEEK 4 TOP GAMES:
#24 Ole Miss (3-0) at UAB (3-0)
Whats at stake? a spot in the top 25, while Ole Miss is #24 UAB is still on the outside looking in. Arguably the best team in SEC UAB brings in a stout defense ranked #12 overall and #2 in the SEC. Giving up only 254 yards per game and better yet just a mere 27.3 yards per game rushing the Blazers are a tough unit to move the ball on and every possession will count. Ole Miss defense isn't bad either ranking them 24th in the land and 5th in the SEC the key for them however is to get Receiver R. Dunn the ball in space he leads the team averaging over 166 yards of all purpose a game. It's UAB first home game since week one expect Birmingham to be rocking.

#7 TCU (2-1) at #22 Houston (3-1)
Houston is by far one of the hottest teams in the counrty right now having beat Alabama and Georgia while they were top 10 teams. They needs a win to continue its march toward a showdown with #2 Oklahoma next week on this murderous row schedule of theirs. TCU looked to have gotten back on track after beating Illinois last week. Since their opening season lost to LSU TCU has displayed top level defense ranking them #13 overall and #3 behind Txas and OU in the Big 12, they are third in the country with six overall interceptions and hope to get more with Houstons pass happy offense.

Penn State (3-0) at #17 Michigan State (3-0)
After a down year where a year ago Joe Paterno retired, Penn State is playing good football. Running back K. Freeman has been much help for Penn State avg 92 yards rushing a game. The ball control offense is helped out with a stout defense as well ranked #3 in the Big Ten Penn State's bend but dont break defense has allowed them to pull out close wins. As for Michigan State wins over West Virginia and Arkansas have the Spartans confident heading into conference play. Quarterback A. Jacobs has been outstanding throwing 12 touchdowns and only 1 interception. Will he and the Spartan offense be able to punch it in against Penn State.

#5 Oklahoma State (3-0) at #8 Auburn (3-0)
While the fans have spoken, in a recent poll that says the Cowboys havent played against anyone (FCS W, Idaho, and Miami (OH) they finally get a primetime match against a worthy opponent in Auburn. Oklahoma State is averaging 50.3 points a game good for second in the land, quarterback P. Warren has led a fierce passing attack and F. Poe balances them out with the run game. But can they play defense? Auburn comes into the game having won all three of their games on the road, at Baylor, at #14 Mississippi State and at Kansas State. The big one being Mississippi State were they shut down one of the better quarterbacks in Buck Browning. Auburn knows how to get pressure as a team in three games they have 13 sacks. More importantly the Auburn offense has been real good, running back Eddie White has carried the load averaging 115 yards a game Will Auburn look past Okie State to UAB next week or will they come handle business. The game is in SEC country and the nation will be watching.

NOTABLE GAMES:
#4 LSU (3-0) at South Carolina (2-1)
USC (2-1) at #1 Oregon (3-0)
Missouri (2-1) at #20 Texas (3-0)
Texas A&M (2-0) at #13 Georgia (2-1)
#11 Stanford (4-0) at Arizona State (2-0)
Purdue (3-1) at #3 Iowa (3-0)
