Please Note:
The team has to follow the MLB STYLE GUIDE first and foremost. Regardless of what MLB club changes before or after. If the Style Guide has something a certain way, their hands are tied more often than not.

When posting concerns about said team's uniform/hats/helmets, make sure you post a pic of what it looks like currently in MLB 11, followed by a pic of what it looks like for the actual club in real life. MLB TV is a powerful tool for this.

Plain text descriptions will more than likely be overlooked. There is too much variables out there where visual explanations are needed. Especially for smaller aesthetics such a pin striping, etc.

This has to be a community effort to make this more efficient and thorough. So be as clear as possible with all bases covered with home/away/alternate combinations with said batting helmets and hats.

Please only post what you feel needs adjusting, not what is already correct. Makes organizing much easier.

Also please update your original post if you think of more things to add. Keeps everything much more organized.

In previous years of the Show the Reds hockey style catchers mask has been black, when wearing their regular home uniforms. When using their Alt. home uniform the mask is the correct color. Its suppose to be red and/or mainly red with a little black for home,away, and alt. home. Can you see if this has been changed? Here is a pic of how it is suppose to look.

The one big question that I have is with the Rangers and the alternate home uniforms. In the game, the Rangers all "Alternate Home" option looks like this:



When in reality they look like this:



The difference is that there is no red sock option in The Show. Did they fix this?

Does Carlos Ruiz now wear his Blue helmet when "catching" when wearing his Phillies afternoon home game alternate jersey!

In MLB 11 The Show he is wearing the red one which is wrong.

The uniforms look great, sound and graphics look great, manage mode and franchise need attention.

They go over everything every year. Just because, in your opinion, the uniforms look great doesn't mean that they are perfect. If they were, the Community Day guys wouldn't ask us for our questions.

If this was not changed and the default is still incorrect, did they add the option of choosing what socks you wear along with hat jersey and pants? that would fix it.

also what thread does discussing swing mechanics go in? the game pic vs. real life pic of kinsler shows that things are way off from what they should look like as far as swings go. those two pics are a great comparison piece.

also please note in the kinsler pics how his pants are. they are up much higher in r/l than in game. I think the best course of action would be a height option as far as guys that wear their pants rolled up.

Numbers on Jersey's with teams without names on back are a little too low. Has this been addressed?

To be really honest, even the jersey's with names on back also have some numbers too low. But i mean it's most noticeable with a team like the Yankees who only have number's on back.

Also just for reference, here's what the yanks away jersey looks like from back. See how the numbers are kind of condensed and thick and not overly large.

Currently, the Rangers "Home" and "Home Alternate" pants both have blue socks. I'm assuming it's just a glitch from last year because the Rangers always wear red socks with their red jerseys and socks.

I'm not saying that this will never be fixed, but last year Russell addressed this topic and said that it was too much of a hassle to fix.

I think it had something to do with all the teams having the same template for uniforms and it was too difficult or not worth it to make new templates for teams without names on the back.

At least they know about it, but they are unable to do anything about it.
