ROLLIN' UP THE CHARTS
BACK TO THE BASICS FOR BAMA:
- For some schools 8-5 is a great year, it guarantees a bowl game a winning season. But in Tide country its a failed season. Sure it was a tough year, but we finished strong and that has helped our early success this season." Coach Nick Saban stated. After a 3-0 start the Tide are ranked #8 in the country and seem to ready for their next three weeks when they face the Gators and Ole Miss, both undefeated as well. A 31-13 win at Boise Started the season and Last week's 10 point win over Georgia was a thing of beauty as the tide got back to the basics.

TOP GAMES FOR WEEK 5
#8 Alabama (3-0, 1-0) at Arkansas (2-1, 1-0) - Alabama has been stout defensively this season with #6 total defense, They face a very good passing attack from Arkansas. This matchup will see if speed can beat brute force.
#16 Oklahoma (2-1) at #4 TCU (2-0)
- Big 12 play starts today for these two teams. Oklahoma's terrible loss to UConn last week have some thinking the season may be over. TCU comes in scoring 45 points per game, Not good for a Sooner defense ranked 101st
GAME OF THE WEEK:
#21 Michigan (3-1) at #18 Notre Dame (2-0)
- Both of these teams can run the football but the key will be quarterback play. Michigan's Andy Mann in two games has thrown 6 touchdowns and only 1 interception, he will be key as most expect Notre Dame to pack the box to stop All Big Ten preseason selection Quinton Washington avg over 6-yards per carry. Michigan's secondary will need another great day. Last week they picked off four passes, this week they face a good Irish receiving core led by Corey Golden and Jamal Shaw both avg over 15 yards per catch. OLB Shannon Burns 5.5 sacks will be something Michigan should be aware of as well.
