I must say I like what I hear for the ps3 fast play. Hopefully we get stat overlays as well in fast play...ps3 videos I am sure will be out sometime today.

Re: MLB 12 The Show Video - More PS Vita Gameplay
That's true - I was speaking from my point of view. Vita only gamers will be fast-play only. I wouldn't begin to speculate on the users that will be 100% Vita, but I don't imagine the number (%) will be high. Again, not a big deal for me personally.
Yes, it's by design. According to Russell (and the community boys), having it at its normal size would make it very difficult to see. Personally, I'm inclined to disagree, but I haven't seen it for myself, so my mind would be subject to change based on actually seeing that in action.Comment

I'm game development you always shoot for the lowest common denominator. I would much rather have someone say they think the ball is to big, rather them saying its to small. If it's to small and you can't bat or field correctly then you won't play the game.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show PS Vita Gameplay
It looks to me as if the ball were bigger when it leaves the bat and goes back to normal size after being caught and thrown to another fielder. Am I wrong here? Not a game breaker for me but it looks a little odd.ephemeralComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show PS Vita Gameplay
Wait, you mean just on the Vita, right? I always hated the, if you will, "big ball" look. I mean, I won't be getting the Vita, but it won't look as big on PS3 right? hahaComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show PS Vita Gameplay
People in the know should correct me if I'm wrong, but this should only be for Vita... All the videos from PS3, the ball looked the same as before, which means no super-exaggerated magnification as in Vita.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show PS Vita Gameplay
Yea, I kind of figured that'd be the case, but anyhow, cool deal. Thanks for the response. Magnified ball or not, looks great on Vita.Comment

But if I don't get the Vita, I won't get fired for playing The Show all day at work. Man, sometimes I hate making responsible decisions.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Video - More PS Vita Gameplay
Isn't it a bit extreme to get rid of hr celebrations? I get it; ps vita gameplay is different and needs a quicker pace but there is nothing more anticlimactic to me than a hr that feels like a bouncer that got away and became a single. (presentation-wise)
Now, just talking from what I've seen. Not sure if it'll be an option. Can anybody confirm this?Last edited by GreenGlen; 02-08-2012, 01:12 AM.Comment
