Re: Vita Patch?
Hopefully it's sooner than later. I think for now if we start a franchise on the PS3 or Vita, we have to play or sim through April and then once we hit May, we can use cross-platform saves again.Currently Playing:

Re: Vita Patch?
Yeah that is an option albeit a limting one at best. My typical run was 3 games on the vita then usually a 4th on the PS3 on my day off from work. I don't sim anything during my season. I play every game. I do suppose I could just run through the April schedule on the Vita as the games are quick. But I'll wait it out a bit longer before I commit.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Vita Patch?
Anyone possibly hear any more info on this?
Figured it was worth a shot.
Also curious what the other Vita owners are doing Franchise wise?
I've had lots of freeze issues transferring (even with files that should be "alright") so I'm not bothering with the work-around.
Do you think it is safe to just start a new Franchise on the PS3 and keep it there while waiting for a Vita patch.....that that file will be fine to transfer over once the Vita gets a patch?
I would just hate to start another Franchise and find out that is for nothing either.......and since they have given no update I'm getting upset just waiting and not being able to play. It's the proverbial walk and a hard place.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
My wild guess is there will be a Vita patch given the PS3 patch basically broke the cloud transfer feature... it would be a shame that one of the most touted feature becomes useless due to a patch. So I'm hopeful there will be one. and that probably happens when the next PS3 patch drops.
I was going to start my franchise soon after the OSFM Opening Day set arrived, but seeing the fiasco that ensued with the freeze, I probably won't start it till I know what will happen with the upcoming patch.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
I was actually considering starting my franchise on the Vita until the patch for one or both systems dropped fixing the transfer problems. I plan to play every game this year (first season at least) and will probably play 2/3 of my games on the Vita.
I'm honestly afraid that I might get into May or so and find out that I have to restart. I'll probably just wait and see how the patches play out, but I'm definitely wanting to get started soon. Here's to hoping I guess.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
Just out of curiosity, what is the issue with the Franchise cloud transfers? I'm still in April in my 'chise and I haven't noticed any issues? Is it statistical or an actual error?Check out my large collection of NCAA Football 12 screen shots from my Ohio State and USF Dynasties!

Re: Vita Patch?
It wouldn't hurt to at least try, Aggies. If it freezes on your PS3 you still have the save in the cloud to just reload on the Vita and continue, no?Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Yea that's what I was thinking. Which is why I don't know what or when the freeze issue shows up. I mean if I transfer it to the PS3 via cloud and play a few games and try to transfer it back and it works but then after a game or two goes corrupt. I guess what I am trying to say will the freeze issue be apparent before I start playing on the other system? Hope that makes sense.Texas A&M Aggies
