Re: Vita Patch?
Two that stood out, and why I currently am waiting and am not sure what to do........
I had a non-corrupt pre-patch Vita file that was in May (so theoretically beyond the point where it should freeze) and it would cause a freeze every time I would try to load it on the PS3, no matter how far I simmed ahead.
I tried starting a brand new patch Franchise on the PS3. Then when I'd try to sim ahead and cloud transfer it to the Vita I would get the schedule issues........and then when I would try to transfer it back to the PS3 I would get the freeze.
So yes Chef Matt......The proverbial Rock and a hard place.lol
I can't believe I typed "Walk" , guess I'm really in a baseball state of mind.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
Yeah mine froze pretty quickly too, so I'm also in the same spot. This whole thing is quite mind bottling.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Vita Patch?
How'd it do that ? I've transferred my season back and forth from the PS3 to the vita a few times already ( post PS3 patch ) and it worked without a problem.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
I guess I should've been clearer. I think those who started franchise before the PS3 patch have problems.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
I started my franchise on the Vita. Played several games did a cloud save to the PS3 pre patch and had no problems. After the patch I made the mistake of one cloud transfer and for a while had no freezes. In the thrid week in May of my franchise I got my first freeze and it was on the Vita. Immediately started a new franchise and I'm still getting freezes on both the Vita and Ps3. Really regret making that last cloud saveComment

Re: Vita Patch?
^
I've had mine freeze on the Vita as well.
It's not a freeze like the PS3. I forget exactly what it says, but you get an error message and the game doesn't work. At least with the Vita, it allows you to just close the game and not have to do a hard reset.
I've had it happen on the Schedule Screen when I was trying to save my existing Franchise, and then again when I was testing post past compatibility.Comment

I think SCEA was really struggling this year in development because they were working on both versions. I don't like it.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
This is driving me crazy...the other day I saw the Vita commercial for the show crossplay and i was like, great feature, TOO BAD IT DOESN'T WORK...
we need some sort of update from SCEA, and a fix immediately, if not sooner.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
Since I only paid $20 for the Vita version (doing the $80 release bundle deal), I traded this in yesterday for $22.
The entire point of having both versions of the game was for the much advertised cross-play... and we're now two months in without this working properly. I figured I'd be better off getting my money back and just moving on.
PS3 only again this year for me, which is fine... but it's certainly disappointing.Comment

Re: Vita Patch?
I haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet as I hold out hope. But it's crossed my mind. Did you trade it in at GS? Can't beat 22 bucks. I can put that towards Mortal kombat.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
