Classic Maryland. Spend money you don't have (they had to cut sports) in an attempt to make your program prominent based off success your two money making sports (Football, Men's Basketball) from over a decade ago.
UMD has blown tons of money rebuilding its facilities for its non-money making sports. Those ridiculous decision has left the university it the position to be pimped by Under Armour and the company that will benefit from having its name attached to that **** field design.

You're not alone. I like it. Many other people have an opinion different than ours(At least as far as liking this field idea) though.
I personally like all the different colored fields, I feel it adds to the pageantry of college football. Yes, nature dictates that grass is green, but if you're going to put down fake grass, why should it have to be green?
I for one have wondered since I saw Boise's, EWU's, and UCA's fields what a black field would look like, and I hope this comes to fruition just so I can see it.I'm in the fight to cure cystic fibrosis, my life depends on it!
