OS (360 Only) Community Rosters Official Thread

Welcome to the Official 360 Community Rosters thread. Here is a quick rundown and I will answer some FAQ's.

Q: When will the Rosters be Started/Finished?
A: We will begin the naming process on July 5th. The rosters should be finished in about a week.

Q: What makes your rosters different?
A: We do complete height/weight make overs. We change jersey numbers, skin colors, add dreads/remove dreads. We edit equipment and add all incoming JUCO's/Transfers. We also use the knowledge from the community so we get info on all 123 teams too make them as accurate as possible.

Q: Will you be naming the Coaches?
A: Yes. All coaches/assistants will be named correctly.

Q: Is there a charge?
A: No. Unlike other websites, the roster downloading is free of charge. We do take donations however.

Q: Do I have to be on your friends list?
A: No. All you have to do is enter one of the Community roster editors name into the EA locker and download.

Q: How can I contribute?
A: We are always looking to get more information for each team. We do not know everything about every team. By posting more insight the more accurate the rosters become.

And I just wanted to emphasize that there is not a set release date for the rosters. It's really impossible as there are so many variables that can come in to play that are game related (servers going down, slow edit player screen) and life related. All we can say is that we will work diligently and will put them out the second they are complete.

But once again, we can NOT promise a day or time that they will be done. Just an approximation as Carson stated.

A. is the other thread closing?

B. how would u like us to list the templates? (name, position, #, etc.)

I believe we have a template for every team. Now we just wait for Teambuilder to go live so we can start checking the template against the actual roster.

Once that happens then you can post changes here. Or if someone leaves or gets kicked off a team.

Yes we will be.

Round 1 will be minor re-rates (Players up and down).

Round 2 will have more detailed re-rates.

Carson, Im heavily involved in the roster editing for the FCS teams are created using teambuilder(thread in my signatures) and I would like to offer my time to contribute this this cause as well. If you already have your core members and are not adding any more people at this time I understand, either way let me know what you think.

@KY3217, Don't worry.... William Gholston won't be rated a lousy 84 like the default roster has him. Like Carson said, we will do minor re-rates (obvious default misses) and then touch things up once the season kicks off. If preseason magazines have a player in major BCS conference listed on their preseason All-American 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team, they wont be rated really low. EA seems to miss on a lot of good players each year.

Right now however, we are pretty full. We have 6 different guys working on the project right now. With that being said though, I am sure after the initial release, only a few of us will continue working on it.

Also, for the people who have seen the ratings videos and are outraged at certain players ... THIS IS THE TIME TO GET THAT ISSUE FIXED!!!We have 15 days until we start the naming process!!!

Certain players are rated VERY low (Gholston, Ogletree etc.)

Certain players are missing (Chris Norman)

If you know of any of these issues, please post them here. This way they will all be added to Roster 1.0.
