Great thread been looking for something like this as well. Having the hardest time trying to find a playbook. Texas State is got a nice playbook. But looking for a good running playbook.

As with last year, I think the best option will remain custom playbooks. Especially if they fixed the glitches. The default playbooks just contain so much generic filler plays, most of which don't even operate correctly that I made custom playbooks just to get rid of stuff I didn't use.

As far as default, I'm really interested to see what they did with Ohio State's playbook as well as West Virginia and Army. I think those 3 have a lot of possibilities to contain newer, innovative stuff. If playbooks didn't change a whole lot, you'll find me rolling with WVU or Clemson.

The problem I have with custom playbooks (also why I don't allow them in Online Dynasty) is that most custom playbooks start off ok, but the longer the game is out, the more money plays are found. To the point where all a custom playbook is, is about 15 different plays that work all the time. I know you can find a money play in just about any playbook, but having a playbook with nothing but them is annoying.

So true, I'm gonna take a look Arizona. Pretty sure it'll be identical to what I ran for Michigan in NCAA 11 with the Rich Rod hire. Had a nice mix of bubbles and still have 4 or 5 under center formations.

Custom playbooks allow to much cheesing. Thats why ill be using just the generic spread offense this year.

I'm definitely interested in Mike Leach's Washington State playbook. Not sure how accurate it will be but I'll give it a whirl.

I'm enjoying Texas State so far, allows RBs to get in the passing game more then any other playbook i've seen in NCAA games

Custom playbooks are only as cheesy as you make them. Have some self discipline and there is no problem. And if you're in an OD with someone who just abuses things like Maryland I Power Option, kick them out or quit. Pretty simple.

As for online lobby games, they'll find the cheese whether there are custom playbooks or not. You take the good with the bad.

I made all of my custom playbooks as authentic to real life as I could. My Tom Osborne playbook was literally the plays and formations from Nebraska's 1995 offense put into the game. No more, no less. My air raid offense was the same, but adapted to be more WVU/Holgorsen style than Mike Leach. My spread option was Oregon to the letter. Just be disciplined and it isn't a problem.

i LIKE TO USE ONES THAT HAVE GOOD POWER PLAYS AND PLAY ACTION. stanford OR EVEN THE run and gun.
