Last with NHL games ending In 3

Just wanted to do a comparison of the last three NHL Titles ending in 3, well the last 20 that is and how far we have come..This series in my eyes has come a long way and is one of the best of all time IMO.. These guys at EA Canada don't rest when it comes to putting of the best Hockey sim around since hitting Nex-Gen.

NHL 2003 was a travesty. 2004 was much better, but 2k was the way to go those days.

that was freaking hilarious!!!!! EA representative cant even say anything decent...well whadya expect he's just the poor guy handling the complaints, did not design the game but only played it. LAME...LOL

this was the time i left EA and jumped in NHL 2K3...but who will forget the S-woop move??? that is the S*&Tiest move ever online... hahaha.

2003 was really complete crap, in fact i havent touched the nhl series after 2003 until today since it was such a let down

lol, did people really have NHL2003 that much...I had no problem with it. Especially when I had NHL2003 for PC and there was a site out there that had so many mods for the game, so things like real life ads on boards, real life scoreclocks on games(was so cool to play a game and have HNIC CBC scoreboard on it) and so many other things in the game, made it real cool

But after looking at those pics...I might want to play older NHL games more often before NHL13 comes out, that way, the graphics improvement looks so much better.

I never played NHL '93', so I can't say I understand the callers frustration.

But imo...I think the EA rep at least deserves some credit for staying on the line as long as he did. If fact, he stayed on a lot longer than I would have.

Again jmo, but as soon as the guy admitted he didn't pay for it [after first saying EA stole his $70]...his right to complain went out the window.

A common mistake, but this is actually NHL Hockey on PC, which was released in fall of '93 but is obviously the '94 edition of the game as it was released alongside NHL '94 for SNES and Genesis.

A lot of people also make the same mistake with EA Hockey which was released in 1991. They call it NHL '91 when it really is just an unlicensed version of NHL Hockey for Genesis meant for Europe. And both of those games were the '92 editions as they were released in fall of '91.

Here's another quick look at the visual evolution of the game:

Eh. They are using the wrong versions of some of the games IMO. I'd start with NHL 92/93/94 Genesis and then go to NHL 94/95 PC, and then 96 PC, and 97 PC. Also for NHL 07 looks like they are using the PS2/PC version of the game instead of the 360 version.

Well, NHL 94 was apparently the pinnacle of the series even though I was only four. I never really got my hands on NHL 94 more than a few times, but I could tell why people loved it.

I always thought 04 was just simply the best NHL experience I ever had. I think that was a pivotal year for EA. Madden was unreal that year too.

If that's the case, then NHL 14 should be the greatest game ever created. But we'll worry about '13 first.
