*** The Official "Red Devils" Manchester United FC Thread***

With all the United supporters I've been seeing around this Forum, i thought this club deserved this thread.

I'm an United fan as well (I'm a fan, not a supporter ) and I hope we can discuss all things about Man Utd on this thread.

I will be updating this first post with the next game of United followed by the betting odds of the game for the people who are interested.

Previous Game: Aston Villa 2-3 Manchester United | Saturday, 10th 17h30 British time

Next Game: Norwich City vs Manchester United | Saturday, 17th 17h30 British time | Odds: Man Utd - 1.48; Norwich - 7.6; The Draw - 4.7 (Betfair)

I REALLY hope Suarez and Evra shake hands so the clubs can try to move on from this once and for all. Both clubs said yesterday that they fully expect them too. Really hope they televise Gerrard & Vidic releasing the 96 balloons at Anfield before the game.

Yeah man they gotta move on, it makes no sense. Past is the past and they should settle things down now.
I'm hoping to see the 96 balloon realease too, it's gonna be a beautiful thing to watch

Fan but not a supporter? What does that mean?

I always thought about starting one, but I thought we don't really need one since we always creep into the discussion.

Anyway, looking forward to the derby. Rumor is Rooney might make a return in that match!

Here's hoping there are no bad Hillsborough/Munich chants.

Ahah what I meant by "fan but not a supporter" was that, I'm a fan of United, because it's my favorite team in England, but the team I really support is my country's Benfica

Yeah, I heard the Rooney rumor too, I hope he makes the return but I don't know how's it gonna be between him and Persie.

They should have a penalty shoot-out to decide.

I hope so too, but there's always going to be a classless minority of any fan base. Let's just hope that those sicko United fans adding the Hillsborough verse to "In Your Liverpool Slums" or singing "I Wish it Could be Hillsborough Everyday" and those equally sicko Liverpool fans singing "Who is that Lying on the Runway?" won't be loud enough to be heard. I think it's such a small minority on both sides that it won't even be noticed, or that the classless few starting the appalling chants will be told to shut up by the rest of their section.

1% of a club's fan base acting appallingly in no way is a representation of the fan base at large, but as I said, let's hope we can't even hear that 1%.

Gotcha. I'm a one-club man but I am finding myself watching different clubs and leagues play more.

As for Rooney, if he does return, it'll probably be a late substitute at best. And +1 for taking penalty kicks to decide who comes in.

Yeah, I love watching other leagues too. Football is just amazing

I agree, Rooney will be limited in the next match...

Fergie has ruled out Rooney in this one saying he's another week or so away. Ashley Young also out for at least 3 weeks with a knee injury.

I am confident we will beat the scum this weekend. 3-1 I am calling it now.

I'm not one to make predictions against Liverpool IN Anfield. No matter their form, they always seem to step up and give us a good test.

Still, hopeful for another 3 points.

Weird things do seem to happen, like Dirk Kuyt scoring a hat trick of tap ins.

Most awful hat trick ever. Cheese-fest!

I watched highlights after I posted that. Total distance on the goals must have been 8 yards. And one of them was scored from 6.
