Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
This is the only question I need answered for NBA 2K 13, I don't think they've said yet. But the team up guys have been playing my player for a couple weeks they said so maybe they can shed some light on this...
To put all this work into this mode every year, and to keep excluding sliders is pretty frustrating! -
Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
I bet $100 it's not in the game this year either. They just don't look to fix the missing features of previous titles. They're always looking to revamp instead and those same features that weren't priority last year aren't priority this year and won't be priority next year or the year after.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
If 2k STILL doesn't have customizable sliders in My Player this year it will show once and for all that they couldn't care less about their hardcore fan base. This is been one of, if not the single most requested aspect in My Player for 3 consecutive years, and would even help alleviate some of the gameplay issues associated with the mode.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
They haven't said anything about sliders in My Player but considering we are talking about it and wishing it all the time they really should put them in there.
The game will be really beautiful after OS's slide gurus are done experimenting on them! What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
It's getting real tiring seeing people say 2k doesn't care about their "hardcore" fan base..... Anyway with custom sliders my player rating would be a 99 within a week!
Not that I would actually want to do it, but that would be the mind state of other people!Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
Even though us sim heads would use sliders the correct way, to actually better the game and get a more realistic experience. Most people would just jack up everything to 99 and max out there player.Add me om PSN for a good game of basketball!

Re: NBA 2k13 My Player Sliders
As mentioned already you can put the game heavily in your favor. Score 300 points your first rookie game and dominate everything. While I think sliders could help your team and the CPU play better the way it wrecks the skill earning system is too great. You can't have a system that's run by grading and skill points have no base for those.
It's not like it would be hard for them to do. And in fact it was possible in 2k10 with the draft combine. And every single person put every slider on 100 and had a 99 in a week and that was before they started just plain hacking. There's other game modes where you can use the sliders. This doesn't work for My player. A mode where you earn points based on performances and how you work with your team. If you change anything about that you can't have a system that rewards you for playing. At all.Comment

I think a solution would be 2K make there actual simulation sliders more sim. 2K sim sliders are decent, but we seen wayyyy better. They should run a contest and make slider makers make the best sim sliders. Then 2K chooses and testes them and the winner gets their sliders as the simulation slider for MP mode.
It would never happen thoughAdd me om PSN for a good game of basketball!

Correct me if I'm wrong but on the XBox can't you mod the file to make a player 99 anyways in 2k12? Seriously, one of my biggest complaints about my player is the sliders, All the bumping, suction, loose ball fouls, just to name a few is very annoying.
IF 2k was so worried about that, well have a separate offline my player. Everybody will be 99 anyways even if online, might just take a few months but it will happen.Comment

I know you stated that you wouldn't do it, but this the main reason why they wont put it in.
