I don't think Mike Leach is going to win.

Just wanted to add this quote from the off-season by Dr.Death
Don't know how I missed this thread, but I have some thoughts... some of you may disagree, some may love it... but whilst Leach was exiled from coaching thanks to CJK5H and the stupid "Old Boys Club" at Tech, he spent quite a bit of time visiting w/ the likes of Rex Ryan and even stated in his book - Swing Your Sword - that defense will be of far greater importance to him the next time around.

He's also added some wrinkles to his offense, so just when you think you know what he'll do, he'll surprise you.

My feeling this year is 8-9 wins. He was at Tech 10 years and they went to 10 straight bowl games. They'd only been to 23 in their entire history prior to Leach.

Those of you predicting 2 wins... I'm assuming you mean by week two, right? LOL 2 wins for the season? For a Mike Leach team? See you in January gentlemen...

Why is Towson/LSU on ESPNU on Saturday night? Ridiculous.

Top 5 teams are pretty much guaranteed to have their game televised, regardless of opponent.

Alabama's and LSU's games last year against FCS opponents were merely on Gameplan/ESPN3.

I just don't understand why an obvious blowout in which LSU will pick-a-score has to be on national television in primetime. We could have a real quality game in that slot.

There really haven't been too much intriguing matchups, this year.

It may be just my imagination.

There aren't a lot of available quality matchups this week, it seems, but just about any of them would be better than watching an FCS team get beat down.

I think TCU @ SMU should get that slot, although I understand that ESPNU has some deal with the SEC as just about every ESPNU Saturday night game features an SEC team.

I want to see Ole Miss pull off the upset against Bama, but that's unlikely to happen.
1.Texas A&M will get their first SEC VS SEC victory against Arkansas.

                      2. Looking forward to the Louisville VS Southern Miss game. Both teams are about speed.
                      3. UNC VS Miami.... nothing important to say about this game other than I like to watch them play each other.
                      4. Georgia and Tennessee will be very interesting on the offensive side.
                      5. I want to see Ole Miss pull off the upset against Bama, but that's unlikely to happen.
                      6. In the FCS realm, I'm going to love watching this MEAC VS SWAC battle in Southern VS FAMU.

Speaking of MACtion, Ohio has finished off their non-conference slate 4-0 with wins over Penn State and a 27-24 come-from-behind win over Marshall in Huntington.

Could the Bobcats bust the BCS if they got 13-0? Going 13-0 may be difficult, though. Sure, they are 4-0 and their non-conference portion of their schedule is finished, but when your best wins are against Penn State and a 27-24 win over Marshall, it can be argued how good you really are.

Ohio plays UMASS, Buffalo, and Akron over the next three games, however, so at the very least they should be 7-0 heading into their game @ Miami (OH).
