Solid signing by Kansas City to get J. Shockey under contract. Didn’t pay too much for a high upside player.
Analysis: Neither Boss nor Moeaki have performed as expected during the pre-season, so the Chiefs front office brought in an aged, but known, commodity. Most likely Shockey’s last chance to make a mark on the league and what better place than KC where Cassel is more than likely going to heavily relying on his hot reads.
