The Golden State Warriors learned today that they'll be without the service of guard
Klay Thompson for 2-4 weeks. Thompson strained his groin at the end of Thursday's game against the Nuggets. He is able to play but Coach Mark Jackson says he wants Klay to take at least two weeks off before returning to the court, so he will likely return after the Warriors' upcoming 7 game road trip.
Jackson stated that Jarrett Jack will start at shooting guard for the time being. This is the second time Thompson has been injured this year, as he missed time two weeks ago with recurring back spasms. In 12 games this season, Klay Thompson is averaging 30.3 minutes, 14.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assits on 39% shooting and 31% 3 point shooting.
