Where does Deandre Jordan's dunk rank all time?
Personally i think it is number 1 because of how it all looked with brandon knight falling the bench going crazy and his nose being at the rim.Tags: None -

This dunk is getting gassed out of proportion. Its like a 27 year old Shaq dunking on a HS kid. Big deal.
If anything Knight should have known better than to even try that.Comment

Re: Where does Deandre Jordan's dunk rank all time?
That was a top posterizing dunks of all time.
Some off the top of my head:
Jordan baseline on Ewing
KJ over Akeem
Wade on Varejo
Wade on Perkins
Blake Griffin on Perkins
BG on Gasol
Starks baseline drive against Chicago
Vince Carter over Alonzo Mourning
Pippen's dunk on Ewing
The Kemp dunk when he starts pointing at the dude on the ground
Vince Carter jumping over dude in the Olympics
Vince Carter jumping over Tim Duncan
Wilkins dunking over Bird
Kobe on Yao
There are probably some other dunks out there but when you put Jordan's dunk up against some of the best... its up there. The power of the dunk makes it special.#WashedGamerComment

Re: Where does Deandre Jordan's dunk rank all time?
The dunk is good, but there's quite a few dunks I can think of that I would rate ahead of DeAndre's dunk.
The two I think of right away is Vinsanity's dunk in the 2000 olympics and Scottie Pippen stepping over Ewing after posterizing himComment

Another than Knight foolishly jumping in his way there isn't anything about that dunk that separates it from any other great oop.. In my opinion anywaysComment

Personally I feel it is overhyped. However, it was a thrilling, get-fans-out-of-their-seats put-that-on-a-poster dunk. What is most impressive is that Jordan, I believe, is left-handed and caught and dunked with only his right hand.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Re: Where does Deandre Jordan's dunk rank all time?
Yeah, probably.
The only two off the top of my head that come close are these:

I'm not going to bother with the all-time talk. There's been plenty of other dunks that were better.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: Where does Deandre Jordan's dunk rank all time?
It's a very nice dunk. But I've never liked the "dunk on a little guy" thing. It just doesn't do anything for me. Again it's a very nice dunk. But it's on Brandon Knight who is 6-3 vs DeAndre who is what? 6-11/7 feet. Big deal smh
But best dunk of all time in my opinion?

Like I said no dunk in my opinion is better. Just look at the reactions.
p.s. I love how everyone talks about all the other dunks but doesn't talk about

Re: Where does Deandre Jordan's dunk rank all time?
I personally don't know where I'd rank the dunk, but it certainly didn't strike me as being one of the top ten slams of all-time. I'll pre-emptively shield myself from the criticism this statement may yield, but I actually saw Jordan's slam as a rich man's version of Dwight Howard's dunk on Jrue Holiday from a few years ago. Jordan jumped from further out, and Knight took a tougher fall, but I see each dunk as being of the same ilk. Both were great slams, but I don't know if either would be in my serious discussion as one of the top 25 of all-time.
