ermahgerd!!!!! Look at all these additions that we've had before that were taken out and now are back in as new additions!!! Dreams do come true!!!


//ugh. On one hand, it makes me sick how they continually do this every 7-8 years. But on the other, I'm happy that the game looks like it's actually going to be fun this year. Last year was unbearably bad and bug-ridden. Here's to hoping that all these "new" additions actually work and aren't completely scripted, unlike last year.

One question that the article didn't say anything about-

Owner mode will basically be a normal franchise, wherein you still do all of the playing, practicing, signing, scouting, drafting, etc, but with all of the old retread features added in, correct?

Does anyone know if Imported draft classes will be on PAL copies of the game ?

I ask because NCAA Football isn't made for PAL consoles and importing draft classes wasn't in previous PAL versions when it was on NTSC copies, although if "Madden Share" is what everyone thinks it will be I don't see why they couldn't have the ability to import draft classes on PAL versions of Madden.

Cool, we can move teams to a new city. And from the looks of this screenshot, we'll be able to keep the same team name and logo (look at Jags logo on left).

New logos for CAT's am I dreaming.....

I hope they bring back in season player attribute editing from madden 12 for offline career so I can edit unrealistic progression.

Good to hear import a draft class is back. But how will the logic work? Because i dont want to see a punter being drafted 2nd overall.

I hope they let everybody thats leaving their respective school to all go into Madden. Because This way we kan Draft thoses players that made the AA team with stats of 1800 yards but dont make it to Madden because they have a 76 rating or lower. And in real life this player would get drafted.

Was browsing through Looman's twitter feed and ran across some information that may or may not have been mentioned thus far.

offline multiplayer/fantasy draft are both in the game.

Sounds like they are working on tuning F/A contracts/signings to make it harder to sign or more "cap restrictive" to sign F/A's.

And fantasy draft is back for offline mode (not sure if that was patched last year as it's not my cup of tea)

To be fair, these features should have never been taken out of the game. There bringing then back with a few small additions like, "oh you can now change the ticket prices".

FINALLY they listen to the fans, it's funny, cause when you listen to him talk on the podcast, he talks about how the changes they've made didn't seem like a big deal to the company.....hello, it's not about the COMPANY! It's about the people paying for your product. Now I know why Madden 13 was horrible, it was an experiment, not a game. So glad import draft class is back, I hope full control of all 32 teams means I can watch cpu vs cpu games again......

Does anyone know if that's what that means?

What exactly does controlling all 32 teams make more realistic? I'm asking cause maybe I can use this also to make my dynasty's a better experience. That being said, if you controlled all 32 teams, wouldn't that eliminate all trades unless you conducted them yourself?

Crazy, everyone is praising Madden for simply bringing back features that were in the game since 08. Everyone seems to be drooling at the mouth over recycled features. Its a real shame! This is not an effort whatsoever from EA, I don't care what anyone says.

All I ever wanted was M12 with the upgraded passing trajectories, a RTP engine that works really well, even better CPU AI, Penalties that actually work, and a full on immersive presentation and franchise package more like HC09 but with real gameplay on the field.


I hope and pray M25 is that. Otherwise I will continue to play M12 with updated rosters.


My hype meter is tempered.....it is a huge wait and see and not a day one buy for me at all. M13 burned me badly.

Thats a bit harsh dont you think? Madden 13, while not perfect, was leaps and bounds better than 12.

(Agree with you about the penalties though. Why is this so hard?)
