Madden NFL 25 Brings Back Importing of Draft Classes, Full 32-Team Control & More

What exactly does controlling all 32 teams make more realistic? I'm asking cause maybe I can use this also to make my dynasty's a better experience. That being said, if you controlled all 32 teams, wouldn't that eliminate all trades unless you conducted them yourself?

Crazy, everyone is praising Madden for simply bringing back features that were in the game since 08. Everyone seems to be drooling at the mouth over recycled features. Its a real shame! This is not an effort whatsoever from EA, I don't care what anyone says.

All I ever wanted was M12 with the upgraded passing trajectories, a RTP engine that works really well, even better CPU AI, Penalties that actually work, and a full on immersive presentation and franchise package more like HC09 but with real gameplay on the field.


I hope and pray M25 is that. Otherwise I will continue to play M12 with updated rosters.


My hype meter is tempered.....it is a huge wait and see and not a day one buy for me at all. M13 burned me badly.

Thats a bit harsh dont you think? Madden 13, while not perfect, was leaps and bounds better than 12.

(Agree with you about the penalties though. Why is this so hard?)

It is a effort and a great one at that. What you don't get is that now that they are putting all these career modes and features that never should have been taken out, back in the game, they will now build on all of these each year, same with gameplay and that's how you make a elite sports game, like FIFA and MLB The Show did.

People need to realize that games like TGTSNBN took 5 years of development not one. 1999-2004

If you listen to the podcast with Rex Dickson he talks about how the new team realizes this is like turning a aircraft carrier around and it's going to probably take another year or two to get this game fully turned around but once they do then the sky is the limit.

These guys are working as many hours as they can to get this game right for us(17+hour days). Lets start to let the past go as we see improvement(only if, if not criticize constructively) and let's start embracing the new.

Now before you start to say but yeah we have seen and heard this all before, think about this for a second....

Was there anything in Madden 13 that is not in Madden 25 or has been improved on? You can't say that for ANY title on current gen except this one. There was no Run To Daylight or Pro-Tak 2.0, this year you have IE 2.0 and basically Connected Careers 2.0

But is it really trolling? I get what you and JPDavis are saying in regards to letting go of the past and embrace the new, but we're just calling a spade a spade here. Yes, I'm VERY excited (and damn near geeked, lol!) about this considering that I haven't bought a Madden this ENTIRE gen because of no owner mode (replayability killer) like last-gen Madden on PS2? Are we supposed to sing their praises to them for something that should've never been taken out in the first place? Let's be honest here. I'm not going to poison this thread with it though. Hopefully this topic can be moved to another thread where we can discuss this?

Yes it is trolling because it serves no purpose. You dont have to sing their praises. You dont have to say anything at all and thats the point. There are people here that are legitimately happy about the features they added back in. I'm one of them because I was pissed they took out 32 team control last year. While I'm happy about that feature coming back, I'm not "singing anyones praises." I recognize that its a feature that should not have been taken out but whats the point in saying that now other than to rain on others' happiness about the features being back.
