Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
But the issue with that is that the busts could still be in the 70's, and thus still worth recruiting for most schools. And I did see this with non-busts. I remember getting a 79 ovr DT, #2 in the nation, from Florida as Missouri because only WVU was actively recruiting him. This was on Heisman. That was actually one of the main examples I can remember that turned me off of the game.Comment

Wow. So really only one off-season recruiting week? That's awesome.Comment

Thanks for taking questions, I have one.
Did you guys look into the depth chart logic for this version.
Here's a discussion about it;

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
Looking forward to this release even more after this info !
The recruiting was boring at best, and any change to the old system never really felt like much of a change.
Totally changing the whole recruiting system, now that is an improvement I am looking forward to !

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
You're being obtuse. There is nothing realistic or fun about the #2 DT in the country only being recruited by two schools, unless you make up a story in your head that he has discipline or qualifying issues. And I was on heisman, not freshman. Leave the "let's let the small schools have a chance" to the lower difficulty levels.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
Well i like the rest, wish there was more, however, after years of EA trying to find a good recruiting system they finally realized that the old games had it best. Quick and easy while still getting the job done is the best result. Even though its not everything i was hoping for , I'm pretty excited for 14 to come out because of everything they seemed to have improved. Now lets just hope and pray come release day everything works as planned. My Newport Falcons Football Dynasty (Teambuilder) (CFB25)

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
Can recruiting still be done on the website?
Is scouting still the same or will it be based on points too instead of time?

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
Just curious how come EA is being so vague and lackluster with announcement this year. Was it because that the marketing team was cut down. In years past we would get like a video each week and talking about all the little things.
few things I'm wondering.
1) Any upgrade to the presentation element to dynasty. Ex. I remember hearing about commentary focus on different player each week and the key player of the team will change depending on their performance.
Are there going to be replays with in game studio, or any changes to in game studio.
2) How does season progression work with players now. Will coach skills effect the progression of the players during season or end of season.
3)Has the logic changed in who makes it into the draft class to madden 25. Also with the different equipment and ratings in NCAA will draft class players come out all jacked up with weird shoulder pads, lopsided legs and boobs this year or have they worked on debugging those things.
Thank you for answering.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
This is awesome.. this is the same recruiting as was on last gen on the PS2. You get points to spend every week and you pick how many points to assign to each recruit. Its simple, fast, and easy to use. Im hoping theres no points cap per recruit (there wasn't on last gen) so like if you are a low prestige school you could put all your eggs in 1 basket to try and land that top recruit HB or QB to turn your program around while sacrificing depth.
Im surprised EA Sports chose to go back to this way of recruiting and im really excited about it but also confused as to why they didn't make this a separate OPTION for people. I for one hated the time consuming, pitch finding/hard selling every week but I know there are others who loved it. Its going to be a tough transition for them.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 14 Trailer - Dynasty Mode
Nice changes to recruiting. However, were any changes made to Custom Conferences at all? Any other dynasty elements added like a Spring Game?
Or is it just the recruiting overhaul and tweaks to Coaching Carousel?I bleed Garnet and Gold. In The 'Slim Reaper' We Trust. Go Noles!Comment
