I doubt that you guys'll ever get a patch. They barely did anything from last years game except move Houston to the AL and update all the rosters and schedules.

Wow, you guys still haven't gotten a patch for this at all? 2K12 got one in the first few days of June, if I remember correctly. That is seriously messed up.

MLB didnt get deal done with 2k til january its hard to make a game in 2 months

I don't buy the excuse that they shouldn't patch, they made a ton of money from the perfect game challenge last year...the fact that the Pitch hitting for pitcher AI is still horrible is something that should be addressed

Don't blame 2K for putting the game together, blame MLB. 2K officially stated, last year, that they had no plans to make another game. Now, imagine from MLB's standpoint that there would be no 'MLB brand' on the most popular console (Xbox 360) in North America, where it is more popular than in any other regions. They forked out the money for marketing purposes; sure, 2K could have denied them, but the money was probably 'significant' for them to release another game in limited time...

This is internet rumor-mongering and nothing more. The idea that MLB was suddenly worried at the last minute is a possibility, sure. But the fact is nobody knows what went down. Could be 2K realized at the last minute they could make some money at very little cost to themselves by regurgitating last's game.
