Vidic and Ferdinand Suspended By BPL
Manchester United players Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic have both been handed out suspensions for their actions on the field in Manchester United's 2-1 loss to Chelsea. Both players received two yellow cards, which translated to one red card per player. The cards were handed out because their slide tackles were deemed malicious and not intended to go for the ball. Both players have been suspended for 3 games and will not be able to participate in Manchester United's upcoming match against the Queens Park Rangers.
