The trailer looks good to be fair, but the gameplay needs to be better than last year's. It was good but still way off where we should be at.

I think most wrestling fans would just be happy if it was bug free and you can have matches that flow well. It still feels like you're playing a fighting game and not a wrestling game most of the time.

Weird to point out that it's unrealistic to expect totally different graphics (which is a valid point at this stage of the consoles) while also hoping for a big change to the core gameplay they've stuck to for a decade now.

Although its cool, does any one else find the whole HBK tossing a guy 10 feet in the air ridiculous? It seemed kind of WWE All Star-esque to me.

Now if hbk does this to Mark Henry we will have a problem.

We've seen these games long enough; you know he will.

I'm not hoping for 'big changes' because it is the end of the generation, but I hope they have at least taken steps to improving the mechanics with a view to going all out next year.

WWE 13 was pretty good and with a themed roster DX roster was great but I just cant get into todays wrestlers with no personality but I did enjoy seeing classic MM , HBK and SC but I dont care to mix CAW with real in game ones.

Now Im not a huge Hogan fan but when he entered an arena wow and what great heels Sheik , Bundy , Studd ect and they werent even the good ones .
So unless theres a Golden age roster in game Im sticking to LOWM for now but hopefully 2k will do a classic game as a option soon but I think WWE will always try to split rosters as they dont wanna lose old time fans or lessen their current talent.

Personally i am not a fan of the Rock being the cover superstar. He JUST came back what a couple years ago? and not even full time. there are far more deserving superstars. CM Punk for WWE 13 was great. he deserved it, after the years of crap he took from the WWE (watch his video) he earned it. where is Kane for the cover? or the miz even. im not a fan of the miz but he is more deserving than the Rock. trust me i love the Rock but he is barely on the show and is the cover of the game? (quote the miz) REALLY? other than that i am looking forward to playing this year's wwe.

The Rock is on the cover bc his is hot in the media now and it helps with the casusal fans and to sell copies. Someone at walmart can now walk by and see Rock on the cover and know who he is and be more likely to buy a copy other then 2 mid card guys.

People saying "Just looks like the 20xx game" every single year is tiresome.

Are you that naïve that you don't realise devs on annual games can't tear everything apart and start again every year?

Some people think it's cool to say "it's WWE 13.5" or some stupid crap like that.

Because it is the same trailer from last year basically. On Youtube you can find a scene by scene comparison to this year's trailer to 13's and some pieces of 12 and it is virtually identical.
