Saving Game and coming back to it later

Hey guys, I have a quick question. If you don't get a chance to finish a game that you started, there is an option to save the game and exit. I would love to utilize this feature if it saves the stats correctly. I remember that 2k11 did not save the stats correctly, and I found that when I loaded a game that I had saved, the score would be right, but the players would have point totals that were not accurate.

I want to use this feature in my association. It would help me get through games faster, but at the same time I don't want to mess up the file or something. Has anyone heard of a link between saving games that were in progress and the association file becoming corrupted?

Just trying to get information on this topic before chancing my association on it. Thanks in advance for any input on this! Any help will be appreciated!

I've done this several times and never had a corrupted file. As far as stats are concerned, I don't know about that because I don't always pay attention to game-by-game stats.

I've never had a file corrupted and I use the feature alot. Also the stats are always accurate. It even uses the jerseys you chosen if you changed them before the game.

feature works great, although i've never paid much attention to individual stats but that does make me want to test that theory and make sure it works.

Seems to work fine for me... I use it for my association as well.

The only thing that doesn't save is the highlights, and the player of the game is really short, but that's about the only issue.
