Big game against UGA in Athens. If we can get by the Dawgs we will be favored in every game up to Florida.

A week ago, I woulda said 31-10 Gators. Now i fully expect a 1 possession game either way. Hopefully the return of Matt Jones, Louchiez Purifoy, and Antonio Morrison gives us the edge. Hopefully its a good one, as this looks to be the end of the great rivalry.

Predictions for Week 2

I think beats Florida by a touchdown 24-17

SC and UGA might come down to who has the ball last

ND and Michigan will be a game for the AGES

Finally Hawaii WILL BEAT OREGON STATE

You expect UVA to stand any chance to make that an enjoyable game? Or do you just like watching Oregon run up a score on a mediocre team?

Lets see:

UGA over USC - I think the Bulldogs will bounce back with their backs to the wall.

Miami over Florida - If Miami can jump out to an early lead they can outlast Florida.

BYU over Texas - No reason just a feeling

Oklahoma over WVU - I don't believe WVU is good enough to beat the Sooners.

And the hardest pick of the week: Louisville over Eastern Kentucky.

As a Gator fan , this is a pretty huge week. If UGA takes down USC, and we can get outta Miami clean, we would be sitting pretty, or at least tied for the SEC East lead (assuming we don't get upset by a mid-level SEC team) until we play UGA. I think Miami has some steam, but ultimately the return of Jones, Purifoy, and Morrison are key and we get by. I think USC BLOWS out UGA, hate to see a team go down so soon, but i just have a feeling the Gamecocks will be too much.

In non-SEC action, give me Michigan over Notre Dame 31-27, and Texas big over BYU.

On paper this is the worst OU team Stoops has ever had.

We lost our three best players on defense from last year and last year's defense was the worst we have ever had giving up yardage.

We also lost Landry Jones who holds every single OU passing record. Fans were happy to see him go but our fans were also happy to see Jason White go....It's hard following a QB like Sam Bradford. Landry did well considering he didn't have as much to work with as Bradford did.

Our QB situation is brutal. Everyone couldn't wait for Blake Bell to take over and then Bell got beat out by a freshman that was third on the depth chart going into last spring. Our second string QB broke his leg.

Should be an ugly game...GL. Only reason I feel somewhat optimistic is that its at home.
