I hope they still continue to support NCAA 14 with patches/tuners/updates year around now

As much as we'd love for that to happen, we ALL know it won't. Look at what happened with NCAA Basketball 10.

The thing I hope is that EAShare stays functional for a while.

Really sad...but you knew this was coming...I now have both ended NCAA franchises (NCAA Basketball 10 and now NCAA 14)...owned every version of both since Bill Walsh and Coach K on the Sega Genesis...but the state of for profit college athletics and many former players wanting compensation, I think it is very unlikely that you will see another collegiate based sports video game on the market again...all I can say is that Madden better be developed to be the greatest football video game every produced from this point on...

Not surprised by this 1 bit. Didn't buy the game the past 2 years because I was tired of buying a mediocre game and I wasn't expecting much for this on Next Gen with all the teams & conferences backing out of licensing deals but maybe once college players start getting paid we'll see a return of this. I'm disappointed a little because of how much I used to play NCAA and how I grew up playing it but honestly i'm not really that upset because of how mediocre the game was on the current gen and how bad the developing team was. I'm glad i'll never have to watch Ben sell us on a mediocre game again that's for sure.

Honestly, the only ones who DIDN'T see this coming were those were just holding out hope that this wouldn't actually happen. Common sense told you this was coming. You don't just start losing the backing of the NCAA and conferences and schools and not expect everything else to spiral from there.
