Anyway no offense but I'am not taking Ronnie's answer too seriously at this point. They're still promoting nba 2K14 NG.

As far as we can tell, and so far, STAT inc doesn't do anything and we're still stuck with the insider's ratings.

I've honestly given up hope for 2K as far as rosters are concerned. It sucks for me because I enjoy playing online against human opponents. Nothing more satisfying than beating crazy ppl online while playing smart basketball.

yesterday there were some changes with green arrows of ratings. I think this was supposed to be the stats inc. I saw melo become a 92, hibbert an 81, many people threes, ft, oreb,dreb, steals changed but these were the only stats effected for everyone which is strange but with this new court update ,all rosters have seemed to reset and all players ratings have gone back to normal. smh

As far as we can tell, and so far, STAT inc doesn't do anything and we're still stuck with the insider's ratings.

I was worried about this, thought we were done with the 2KInsider and now had a real dynamic roster update system/software.....

I have a feeling that this STATS Inc. implementation is nothing more than a reference which the insider uses to make ratings adjustments at his leisure. It's starting to reminisce of the 82games.com 'implementation' a few years back.

Oh yeah the 82games.com.... I was really hoping that 2K implemented a true dynamic software roster updating sytem in 2K14 that will update the hotspots and tendencies, and playbooks, not just over the top ratings and players headbands. I haven't gotten NBA2K14 yet, waiting for next gen but is this true, the game's roster update system so far hasn't been different than years past?
