re: NBA 2K14 Impressions (PS4/Xbox One)
Holy crap. Me: Westbrook. CPU: Lin. I dribble towards Lin at the top of the key, do an in-n-out then cross to my right and break poor Jeremy's ankles. Right after I pulled off the move I heard a super loud "OHHHHHHHHHHH" from the crowd.
I feel like a freaking boss right now.

re: NBA 2K14 Impressions (PS4/Xbox One)
Well I'm strictly an association player. No online, no myplayer, no blacktop, etc. I'm also a stickler for realism. As a result I've been doing 30 team control for several years. While MyGM sounds very interesting, for the type of player I am (and someone who pretty much only buys 3-4 games a year, all sports) $399 is a lot to spend. I'm very wary of 2K not having fixed all the transaction AI flaws and severely limiting our abliity to work around it. I'm also not sold on the VC emphasis (in addition to issues with the mode it seems like a money grab to me to entice folks to buy VC out of pocket).
That said, the excitement so many posters seem to be finding with the gameplay is promising and it is great to see so many people enjoying the game.Comment

I'am not buying half the things I read in this thread. Game might be good, and pretty awesome looking graphically but i'am almost 100% certain out of the box the rosters and tendencies are the same garbage as it ever was.Comment

re: NBA 2K14 Impressions (PS4/Xbox One)
What do you mean by tuning wingspan? If wingspans truly affect gameplay, finally, and appropriately, shouldn't we embrace the realism.
If I had to gripe about anything, I do feel like there might be too many blocks. Maybe they need to tune the wingspan stuff a bit? I dunno. In my first game I had a chase down block with LeBron on Ginobili that made me do that Antonio Banderas. But later on I had one with Battier that made me do whatever the opposite of the Antonio Banderas is.

re: NBA 2K14 Impressions (PS4/Xbox One)
I cant find next gen Q&A thread...
how's the crowd atmosphere/arena sounds? is it pretty much the same as CG?
Crowd noise at max? does it make a difference unlike CG?
ThanksComment

re: NBA 2K14 Impressions (PS4/Xbox One)
The sound overall is way clearer than CG, more defined space/arena.
Crowd reactions can be much louder/more dynamic too.Comment
