Brand Wars: The Smoovest WWE 2K14 Universe

Backstory: In an attempt to revitalize Pro Wrestling Vince Mcmahon has decided to officially split up Raw and Smack down. The WWE is now split With Triple H controlling RAW, and Paul Heyman controlling SmackDown. The commissioner of the whole league is Vince McMahon. A draft between Raw and Smackdown broke the WWE roster in half, and Paul Heymans Smackdown opted for a younger roster. Triple H's Raw opted to draft for star power. Trades and and and official free agent pool will have these two organizations scrambling for talent.

The WWE is still competing against itself, but Raw and SD have a working relationship in place. They share MITB, Summer Slam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and Wrestlemania.

RAW exclusive ppv's are Extreme Rules, No Way Out, and Hell in a Cell.

SD exclusives are Over the Limit, Judgement Day (In place of Night of champions) And TLC.
    Minor league rosters:

NXT: Raw did a great job signing bright young talent onto it's minor league roster. It makes up for the older talent on the main roster, and they are still negotiating with the likes of Richie Steamboat, and Alexander Rusev.

FCW: Smackdowns FCW is a hybrid of WWE's overlooked alumni, seasoned vets, and great young talent. Davey Richards is a lock to sign after he recovers from a minor neck injury.

Based on the Major and minor league rosters which organization is in the best shape?

            Full Show Write Ups

            April; Week One

            Monday Night Raw

The show opens with the WWE champion Randy Orton. He explains to the crowd that he will be the WWE champion for years to come. He tells them to get used to the image of him holding this title, because it's gonna be his for a long time. Out comes John Cena to cut him off right there. He tells Orton that his prediction of a long reign is far fetched, and that he'll be looking to take that title from him at Extreme Rules by becoming the #1 contender. The two go back and forth. Triple H comes out and decides to make a six man tag team match to open the show.

Match #1: Cena, RVD, Dolph Ziggler vs. Orton, Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro

A tag match that followed the classic Cena formula. Ziggler is getting beat on by the opposing team, and he's finally able to tage in Cena. Cena comes in like a house of fire. He hits the five knuckle shuffle on Cesaro right after tagging in Rob Van Dam, who delivers a frog splash on Cesaro mid move to get the victory.
            Winners: Cena, RVD, Dolph Ziggler

Match #2: CM Punk vs. Ryback

A rather quick match that really had nothing going for it. CM Punk gets the win with a GTS. Ryback looks very frustrated after the loss
            Winner: CM Punk

Match #3: Matt Hardy vs. Dean Ambrose

Matt Hardy makes his WWE return, and is out to a great ovation from the crowd. His opponent is the U.S champion Dean Ambrose. Ambrose and Hardy go back and forth, and the match ends with a huge knee to the face of Hardy. Ambrose manages to knock off Hardy in this non title match.
            Winner: Dean Ambrose

Match #4: John Morrison vs The Miz

What started out as a friendly welcome back match from the Miz to his friend John Morrison turned sour quick. Miz got frustrated as Morrison had his number all match. Miz resulted to choking him multiple times, and won with the Skull Crushing finale.
            Winner: The Miz

Match #5: Goldust & Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns

A great match showcasing what the tag team division is capable of on Raw. A long match sees Rollins and Reigns defeating the tag team champions in a match with huge implications. Romans and Reigns do the title motion around their waists and leave to end Raw.

The Shield tweeted soon after the match.
"We would like to send Cody and Dustin a personal thank you for keeping our belts warm, but we're ready to take them back." #Believe

            Impact Wrestling

No write up for the first Impact, but you're not missing anything. It was uneventful.

The show opens with the entrance of The Hurricane! He's out to a big pop from the crowd. Out next is his opponent Tyson Kidd. He's out to a decent reaction. The two shake hands before putting on a demonstration of what pro wrestling is all about. The match ends with a shining wizard.
            Winner: Hurricane

Del Rio is in the rings as we return from a commercial break. He tells the crowd that his career has been on a downward spiral, but not to worry, because it's his destiny to be World Champion. Evan Bourne then makes his entrance after the promo. He's accompanied by Kofi Kingston.

Match #2: Alberto Del Rio vs. Evan Bourne w/Kofi Kingston.

Del Rio is in firm control of this match from start to finish. Bourne gets some cool spots in, but can't stop the determined Del Rio.

            Match #3: R-Truth vs. Christain

Christain was getting beat down most of the match, but started to mount a comeback. He accidentally misses R-Truth with a clothesline, and hits the Ref. Damien Sandow then runs out to the ring and hits the "Your Welcome" on both men. What was that all about?

            Winner: Wade Barrett.

Rob goes to high five Barrett out of respect, but Barrett hits Rob with a Low Blow.

Match #2: Tons of Funk vs. The Real Americans

The winner of this match would go on to face Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara in a #1 contenders match at extreme rules. The Real Americans pick up a big in.
            Winners: The Real Americans

Backstage Josh Matthews is interviewing John Cena. He asks if he's ready to take on Orton this sunday. Cena says he's been ready. He can't wait to get his hands on Orton, and he more importantly to throw Orton... through a table, because this sunday the WWE title match will be a TABLES MATCH!!!

            Cena storms off

Match #3: Matt Hardy vs. Heath Slater.

Dean Ambrose is out to join commentary for this match. He praises Matt Hardy for his toughness. His calls Matts inability to give up "Inspiring, but stupid"
Matt makes quick work of Slater.
            Winner: Matt Hardy

Match #4: John Morrison vs. Jinder Mahal (No dq)

Morrison gets a test extreme rules match before the PPV. He toys with Mahal, and wins with Starship Pain.
            Winner: John Morrison

A pre taped Ryback Promo airs on the Titantron. He talks about how he can't wait to prove he's the best in the world.

Match #5: Goldust vs. Roman Reigns

Goldust gets a clean win over Reigns. This is the first bit of momentum the Rhodes have gained going into Extreme Rules.
            Winner: Goldust

Cena and Orton come out to sign the Contract. They both sign without any hesitation. Cena asks why Orton decided to man up and write his name on the dotted line. Orton says he loves table matches. He tells Cena to ask his mother how experienced he is with "wood".

Cena immediatley grabs Orton and AA's him through the Table. Cenas music hits and he celebrates with the title as Raw goes off the air.

            Impact Wrestling

Very frustrating. The game infinite loads when I try to defend a created title in a created arena with created superstars. If this doesn't get fixed i'll have to scrap Impact completely.

Match #1: (Extreme Rules Tag team title match) The Shield vs. The Rhodes Brothers (c)

Backstory: The Sheild managed to gain the upper hand over the Rhodes, multiple victories by Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in both singles and Tag competition have made them the odds on favorite to win this match, but the Rhodes have expressed how bad they want to be champs. Goldust managed to get a victory over Reigns on Raw. Can the Rhodes ride that bit of momentum to victory?

Match #2: (Extreme Rules Match) CM Punk vs. Ryback

Backstory: Ryback became bitter after a quick loss to punk on the April 1st edition of RAW. Ryback would then dedicate all of his matches to sending a message to Punk. Ryback would resort to cheating in tag matches that both competitors were involved in, and Punk feels he's ready to move on from Ryback.

              Memorable Spots

              Promo

Ambrose admires Matt Hardys inability to quit, but he doesn't believe that he'll be able to step into the ring with Dean Ambrose and not want to run. He says that their match will be an I Quit Match!

Match #3: (I Quit Match) Matt Hardy vs. Dean Ambrose (c)

Backstory: Dean Ambrose was convinced that his win over Matt Hardy on Monday Night Raw was proof that he's better then Matt. Hardy however saw things differently. Matt made comments on social media saying that Deans win "means nothing". Dean took offense to these comments, and took every opportunity he could to attack Hardy physically and verbally. Ambrose got the rest of the Sheild involved in the pre match attacks on Matt. Still Matt refused to let Ambrose stop him from succeeding. Matts never say die attitude aggravated Ambrose, and just now Ambrose announced that this match will be an I Quit match. Ambrose has sarcastically praised Hardys inability to quit on multiple occasions, and heres his opportunity to prove that Matt is but a mere mortal.

              Memorable Spots

              1. Dean Ambrose is out alone. The tag champions are nowhere in sight.
              2. Matt gets a HUGE Pop from this Missouri Crowd.
              3. Ambrose does like 2 moves to Matt and makes the ref ask him if he quits. Quite funny.
              4. Cool detail- Matt goes to use the U.S Title as a weapon- Dean takes it from him and puts it back like it's his most coveted trophy
              5. Ambrose uses a van Daminator on Matt
              6. Well into the match, still no Romans or Reigns
              7. Matt hits a twist of fate on Ambrose, but Ambrose still wont quit.
              8. Matt is asked to quit while being hit repeatedly with a steel chair, he still wont.
              9. Ambrose showing extreme frustration.
              10. Matt hits his leg drop on Ambrose.
              12. A this is awesome chant brakes out
              11. Ambrose places a chair over Matts neck and stands on it. He screams at Matt "Quit or die! Quit or die" Matt is indeed a mortal, and he's forced to quit.
Winner and still United States Champion: Dean Ambrose

Backstage is Randy Orton with Renee Young. Young asks Orton what he plans to bring to the "table" in his tables match against John Cena. Orton grips his title closer to his chest and sternly says "A win".

In the Ring Wade Barrett is screaming on the mic. He's still upset about being traded for Dolph Ziggler, and he wants a rematch against RVD. Rob Van Dam makes his way out, and it looks like we have a match.

Match #4: Wade Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam

Backstory: Wade Barrett didn't understand why Smackdown would trade him to Raw. He promised he would make them regret it on RAW, but on his debut match he lost to Rob Van Dam. It looks like he wants a second chance here tonight.

              Memorable Spots

              1. Barrett displays his power as he holds Rob over his head and throws him outside of the ring.
              2. Rob is using his fast kicks to his advantage.
              3. Van Dams looking like Bruce Lee, every punch Barrett throws is being caught.
              4. A frustrated Barrett hits a big boot that knocks out RVD.
              5. Barrett picks up RVD and hits him with the Bull Hammer. He gets the win.
              Winner: Wade Barrett

This match served as a break in between all of the chaos. It served it's purpose, and it was still decent for the short time it was given.

Match #5: (Extreme Rules Match) John Morrison vs. The Miz

Backstory: John Morrison & The Miz was one of the best tag teams in recent years before they were eventually broken up by the WWE draft. Over the course of Morrison's hiatus from the WWE he and the Miz "buried the hatchet". Morrison returned on April 1st and was set to have a friendly "welcome back match" against the Miz. Morrison looked great in his return. Miz began to get frustrated during this match, and resorted to choking Morrison to steal a win. Miz and Morrison now have a serious rivalry brewing, and it will likely end here tonight.

              Memorable Spots

              1. Morrison and Miz start throwing punches as soon as the bell rings
              2. Morrison throws Miz out of the ring, and hits a huge 450 splash to the outside. WOW
              3. Miz collects a bunch of chairs and starts throwing them at Morrisons head.
              4. Miz dropping knees repeatedly on Morrisons face, followed by a series of punches
              5. Morrison misses Starship Pain.
              6. Miz sets up a chair in a sitting position and hits a Skull Crushing Finale on it. This ones over.
              Winner: The Miz.

Morrison is completely unconscious in the ring. You really felt like the Miz hates Morrison in this match.

Match #6: (#1 contenders match) Sin Cara & Rey Mysterio vs. The Real Americans

Backstory: The Real Americans won the right to face Mysterio & Sin Cara by defeating Tons of Funk on Raw. This is all about the tag titles.

              Memorable Spots

              1. The Real Americans cut a short promo on the way down to the ring dissing lucha libre wrestling.
              2. Mysterio gets thrown around like a ragdoll by Cesaro.
              3. A tag to Swagger comes at the same time as a tag to Mysterio who comes in like a house of fire.
              4. Mysterio gets caught by Swagger while going for the 619.
              5. Cesaro swings Sin Cara about 30 times, and then hits him with the uppercut.
              Winners: The Real Americans

The Real Americans will face the Shield on Raw.

Match #7: (WWE Championship Tables Match) John Cena vs Randy Orton (c)

Backstory: John Cena and Randy Ortons history is well documented. Their rivalry dates way back to 2007. It's no secret that these two don't see eye to eye. Cena and Orton are set to make history once again as John Cena looks to take the title away from Randy Orton, who has developed a bit of a god complex since becoming champion. Last week John Cena announced that this match will be a tables match. It seems that Cena is intent on bringing Orton down a few notches. On the other hand theres the Apex Predator. Orton has went to ridiculous heights to keep his title, but in tonights Tables Match there are no rules to be broken. Cena vs. Orton! The historic rivalry continues!

              Memorable Spots

              1) Cena and Orton get in each others faces screaming. Very intense
              2) Cena getting the upper hand on Orton early on
              3) Orton manages to get his hands on a table which he uses to attack Cena.
              4) John Cena WONT. STAY. DOWN (Seriously, I need to adjust his attributes)
              5) Orton sets Cena up on the announce table and jumps from the turnbuckle. Cena moves and Orton puts himself through the table.
              6) Cena hits the 5 knuckle shuffle and goes for the AA with a table perfectly set up. Orton manages to elbow Cena and get out of harms way.
              7) Orton grabs all the tables and throws them outside the ring. He's terrified.
              8) Cena hits a surprise hurricanrana
              9) Orton attacks Cena with the WWE Championship.
              10) The champion is having trouble getting the dead weight of Cena up and through the table.
              11) Orton sets up 2 tables stacked on top of one another where the announce table once was.
              12) Orton gets Cena up on the bottom right turnbuckle and hits a HUGE superpley on the outside through the stacked tables!!!
Winner and still WWE Champion: Randy Orton

Orton and Cena are both completely out of it. Doctors rush out to put Cena on a stretcher, while Orton is able to stand. Orton celebrates with his championship as the show goes off the air!

Note: What do you think about the way I'm doing PPV write ups? I find them easier to read and more detailed than the short paragraphs.

                      May Week One

                      Monday Night Raw

This is a huge night for the Raw roster. Hot off the heels of the Extreme Rules PPV is Monday Night Raw! The fallout from the most extreme night in wrestling, whats next for the superstars involved in last nights Pay Per View.

The show opens with John Cena. Cena of course out without the WWE title, as he was not able to beat Randy Orton last night. Cena says that he considers himself a very humble man. He'll admit that Orton gave him the fight of his life last night, and that theres no doubt Orton deserved to win. He says that despite his humbleness he's still a WWE Superstar, and he's still competitive. The next PPV that includes RAW is in 8 weeks, and thats just enough time for Cena to earn his #1 Contender ship.

Cena is interrupted by RAW Gm Triple H on the titantron. He informs Cena that he will be in action tonight in a Pick Your Poison match. Randy Orton will choose Cenas opponent, and Cena will choose Ortons! Cenas obviously banged up from the tables match, but he's clearly intrigued by this concept.

Match #1: Wade Barrett vs. John Morrison

Morrison and Barrett have a match thats about as well balanced as it gets. Barrett ends up catching Morrison with a Bull Hammer Elbow. Barrett's finally gaining some momentum.
                      Winner: Wade Barrett

Backstage is the WWE Champion Randy Orton! Ortons heavily taped up (through the power of superstar heads) Renee Young asks Orton how he feels just 24 hours removed from one of the most brutal matches in WWE history. Orton says it doesn't matter how he feels. What matters is that he still has his title, and that he's going to have this title for a long, long time.

Match #2: (Tag Team Title Match) The Real Americans vs. Seth Rollins
                      & Roman Reigns.

The Real Americans are out first. The crowd doesn't know what they're supposed to think about these two at this point.

They await the arrival of the Sheild, but are instead greeted by the Three Members on the titantron. Ambrose says that they all just went through an extreme rules match 24 hours ago. They deserve the day off, "and weather you like it or not we're taking the day off. Rollins chimes in and tells The Real Americans not to worry, because they got them some serious competition to hold them over.

                      Out comes 3MB...'

Match #2: The Real Americans vs. 3MB

The Real Americans aren't amused at this "Competition". They make quick work of all three members. Swagger seals the deal with a gut wrench power bomb on Jinder Mahal.
                      Winners: The Real Americans

It looks like the crowd is getting behind them after that.

Match #3: Randy Orton vs. ???

Orton is out first. He's really selling those injuries. Orton waits in the ring to find out who his opponent is... Break the Walls Down!!! Chris Jericho! Not too shabby.

Orton gets it taken to him by Jericho, who is smart enough to go after the injured ribs. Orton manages to make a comeback. He hits that huge power slam on Jericho and stalks him for the RKO. Orton hits it and Jericho is down for the count.
                      Winner: Randy Orton

At this point Ortons looking too good to be stopped.

Match #4: Big E Langston vs. The Miz.

Out first is Raws "biggest" new signing; The Powerhouse Big E Langston. He's followed by The Miz, who managed to defeat John Morrison last night. Miz is really showing the effects of his extreme rules match. Langston hits 2 Big Endings for the win.
                      Winner: Big E Langston

Raws newest acquisition is already making his presence felt.

Match #5: John Cena vs. ???

Cenas out first to the expected reaction, half and half. His opponent is... Ryback!

Cena is looking really hurt out there (remember he was carried out of the arena on a stretcher last night) Ryback just beat CM Punk last night, and at this point he's toying with Cena. Cena begins to mount a comeback but is shut down. Ryback is in the corner ready to hit the Meat Hook, but he's caught. Cena hits the AA!
                      Winner: John Cena

Cena grabs a microphone. See that Orton? That brings me one step closer to #1 Contender ship. If I get one more shot at the belt I guarantee that I do us all a favor and finally take it from you. THE CHAMP WILL BE HERE!!!

Raw goes off the air with Cena celebrating.

                      Smackdown

What I couldn't post last week due to technical difficulties

Justin Gabriel attacks Tyson Kidd after a match.
The WGTT beat Air Boom and send a message to the Prime Time players
Kane has his first actual match of the universe and defeats Kane. Afterwards Daniel Bryan show up and they brawl.
                      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smack Down Opens with the Entrance of the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Bryan says he doesn't know what Kane's problem is, but what he does know is that Kane has pissed him off, and he's tired of the games.

Bryan wants Kane right here, right now!

Instead out comes SD GM Paul Heyman. Heyman says that this match will not happen for free. If Bryan want's Kane he'll have to take him on at Over The Limit. Bryan calls Heyman a fat son of a bitch, which gets Heyman really mad. Bryans fired up and he wants a match against ANYONE right now.

Heyman composes himself and tells Bryan to take the day off, as a matter of fact Daniel Bryan is banned from the arena. Heymans being a real A-Hole. Heyman says Bryans on his bad side now, and that people on the Smackdown GM's bad side have a very, very bad time.

                      Match #1: R-Truth vs. Fandango

R-Truth finishes rapping and begins to speak. He tells Dameon Sandow that him and Christain are tired of you constantly coming after us. "Next time we see you, you gonna get got!"

Fandango looks good in his SD debut, but R-Truth needed this win more than ever. He managed to get the job done.
                      Winner: R-Truth

Sandow is on the titantron. He starts speaking all smarty. R-Truth asks him what the hell he's talking about. Truth says he'll put what he has to say real simply. "You jumped me and my boy Christain twice, now you got two bad mother******* angry. You better watch your back"

                      Smackdowns getting really edgy.

Match #2: Justin Gabriel vs. Tyson Kidd

The two put on a very fast paced match. Everything happened so in order that it looked painfully choreographed. It was still good though. The match ends with Tyson Kidd hitting the Code Blue.
                      Winner: Tyson Kidd

Kidd goes to shake Gabriels hand after the match, but is met with a slap to the face. Kidd looks really upset.

Match #3: Haas & Benjamin vs The Prime Time Players.

Great tag team match. It ends with Haas and Darren Young brawling all the way to the top of the stage to a double count out.
                      Draw

Match #4: Bray Wyatt vs. Sheamus

As Bray Wyatt begins to lose the upper hand he stands and makes a weird hand signal. Out come Harper & Rowan. They stand in one corner of the ring across from Sheamus. Rowan then blasts Bray Wyatt in the face! WTF! Harper and Rowan then go after Sheamus. All three members beat down Sheamus.
                      Winner by DQ: Bray Wyatt

It looks like Rowan hit Wyatt so he would win the match. Smart.

Match #5: Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler.

Kane looks very strong in this match. Ziggler manages to get some offense in, but Kane is a reborn monster.

                      Kane gets a mic.

"The countdown begins. In three weeks the monster is released on Daniel Bryan. The devils favorite demon will do his masters bidding."

Kane laughs and SD goes off the air.
