I bought this when it came out, since I loved FB Pro. This game was a complete mess. Everything was broken. I went back to play it like a year later, but didn't have my install and couldn't get it reloaded, however from what I read the dev basically game up on the game. I think it was a one man dev job. In all my years of gaming, I feel like this is the biggest ripoff I have ever experienced.

Well It was just one guy who put it together.. He gave up because people were son unhappy with it.. Right now Im trying to mess around with Max and fb pro99 Yes 99.. there are fix its out there.. Use ONLY the 2.8 patch NOT the 10.. In truth there is NO perfect game out there.. It depends on what you want.. an then you have to except problems in any game you like.
So many like 2k5, I tried and I just don't like it.. Love 2k8 but don't know how to hex edit it. and I want a game to make the greatest teams in a league and franchise Singles seasons over and over to fine out who the best team is of all time.. Anyhow right now messing with 99..

Are you saying Max is good now? I wanted to give it another try if I could get access to it again. When I played the game it was a mess. Downs and scoring were not even calculating correctly.

Max still has some problems, but Its worth the effort.. go to MaxMykals site and read up on it.. Is the game perfect? no but then NO game is. and unlike madden the game isn't fixed.. I will say the the maximum site asking for $50 for a game over 6 years old is a joke tho..
Anyone wanting info go to either the MaxMykal or Maximum fb sites..

Shockingly, I was able to log on to Matrix Games and my product key is listed. I can not believe this game came out almost 8 years ago. Seems like yesterday. Anyway, I had to email support since my purchase was with their old vendor. Hoping I can re-install the game.

I concur. I've long-since been intrigued by this game, but the asking price was far to high.
