The original NFL Blitz games (1997 - 2003) also had trash talk between players before and after plays. I was disappointed when EA Sports left it out of their 2012 remake. It actually does add something to a game's fun factor.
I said real though, the older stuff was always fake. At least Madden has the real cadences.

Actually, DNMHIII was on point. EA did say give it a couple years with regards to 'bigtime reaction from a top dog cornerback give it a couple of years."

[Peyton Manning yelling out "Omaha, Omaha, Omaha"] or something like this [Richard Sherman beat his chest and yelling "Don't try me! I'm the best!"].

We do have some good sound effects in the game, so you'll hear Peyton Manning saying "Omaha" at the line of scrimmage. Yeah, it does have real cadences, but you framed your question in a why where there was no acceptable answer. The fact the APF had field pass with on field player commentary is a blueprint for what Madden should do. No need to try and record real players. It would be to time consuming and honestly outside of the top 3% of the NFL who really knows what these guys sound like?

I love how it's Peyton's cadence now. Eli was using it well before his big bro decided to use it 5 million times a game.

Did they add a choke in the playoffs trait inspired by him as well?

See, I thought 2K Field Pass was awful and one of the worst components of APF's presentation. The implementation was fine, but the writing and voice acting was painful IMO. The only way I'd want a field pass feature in Madden is if it had authentic audio; otherwise the standard pre-play player chatter is fine by me.

              Just my opinion, though.

Agreed. I turned it off after 2 minutes of it. **** was awful.

Even the Real Voice from 2k basketball gets repetitive. I could do without it.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Includes Peyton Manning Omaha Cadence

I am SOOOO glad that EA took the time and effort to put Peyton Manning's "Omaha" call in the game! This was the number one priority for changes to be made between M25 and M15. No wonder things like real-time physics, foot-planting, ratings that actually work, better animations, better tacking physics, and better CCM/Franchise mode had to take a back seat.

I will DEFINITELY buy this game now that I can hear Peyton say "Omaha" for 30 straight seconds before he snaps the ball!

Way to go EA! You really give us Maddenites the things we crave most! If it's in the game, it's in the game.

I was just sayin that the other day. Field Pass was garbage. They were trying to be like Blitz The League with that feature, but the voice acting was nowhere near as good. That joint was embarrassing.

Would be cool to have a signature cadence button you can press pre snap like the quite the crowd animation. Would be funny and annoying at the same time having Peyton yell Omaha 10 times before the snap.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Includes Peyton Manning Omaha Cadence

If I was a teenager again I would think this is kinda cool. However, I have been playing this game for 26 years now. I remember when they implemented the 'Peyton Manning 20 seconds of audibles' a couple years ago. It was annoying and slowed the game every time I played his team. I don't care if he says Omaha, Portland or Columbus.

I feel like there are bigger things that need attention. Auto-Subs being one of the biggest issues. I get that they will be adding new sounds captured on the field and that is cool... but don't talk this up like it is something brand new either.

On top of that, since when do cadences matter in a game of Madden?
