Re: NBA 2K15 Video - Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs (Off-Screen Footage)
yeah I thought the whole point was removing meters from the game all those years ago (i hate meters), and using an animation led system instead. hopefully that is just a learning tool that you can turn off. I do not want any meters uglying up my beautiful looking game of basketball!Comment

The movement and animations were the first thing that stood out to me. Looks good. Some of the individual movements seem a bit slow motion but nothing that sliders can't fix.Last edited by eko718; 08-13-2014, 10:11 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Video - Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs (Off-Screen Footage)
...something caught my eye (and not in a good way at all)...
Ouch... @1:08 mark, lower right hand corner. Spurs defender completely ice skates over to the paint. I guess the court is a little too slippery. Ouch.
... more ouch. @1:18 mark, Miami heat player inside the paint, skates/slides over to protect the rim.
Personally when I look at NBA 2k footage, I'm simply looking at the footplant of the defenders and it appears more work is still heavily needed. Still too much sliding, lack of footplanting by defenders.
Someone posted a larger version on youtube.

Re: NBA 2K15 Video - Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs (Off-Screen Footage)
Couple things I didn't like about 14 are gone. The speed is turned down thank god, and the floor isn't a ice rink anymore.
It may just be me but the ball looks like it hits the rim and backboard harder now as well. I also liked the camera angle after Belinelli hit the 3 and my god that scoreboard is nice. They really need to just get the TNT license I mean, at this point they basically have the same scoreboard.Comment

The shot meter thing might not be for all difficulty levels and can probably be turned off. Games past had the shot feed back as well. I'm almost positive this "meter" shooting WILL NOT be available for online ranked matches.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Video - Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs (Off-Screen Footage)
I agree. We can clearly see that the players are too big / the court is too small. This is one of the main reasons 2ks gameplay is SEVERELY flawed, and zone defense is so dominant. Idk why most call it "next gen" when the same problems that plague last gen still exist. It is CLEARLY the same game. Nothing but a over glorified ps3 port.Comment

If it's to help casuals it will be in all online modes. Lowers the complexity of learning the game instead of teaching .#SIMNATION

it's kinda funny I remember last gen, a big complaint was how everyone was the same size and you couldn't tell people apart.ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUTUBE CHANNELS DEDICATED TO THE SIM COMMUNITY CLICK THE LINKS BELOW, AND SUBSCRIBE FOR ALL SIM CONTENT.
