How are you playing defense? Old cams or new cams?

I tried using the new cams for a few games and just couldn't get used to it. And was getting destroyed. I switched back to the old cams and find it much more enjoyable. I might try the new ones again but for now I think I'll stick with the old way. How about you? What are you using, and if using the new ones how are you enjoying them?

I did the same, yeah the old cams are a bit better since that's what we been used to. I will do new cam with defensive linemen, maybe linebackers, def not DBs lol

D cam all the way for me. Get's me more into the game and gives a more "realistic" field of vision IMO.
Either way.. I love it.

I try to do all the cam's that way its like watching a real game because they don't always show same angle.

For Connected Career as a defensive player, are you forced to the lock camera or can you switch it? I find it impossible to play with when the screen is always changing directions, but can't seem to find out how to change it. Is this the only option or what am I missing?

D cam all the way for me.

I play DE and will probably try to ballhawk as SS, but playing as one of your favorite players in the D cam, and actually making a play from that angle, is quite satisfying. On the other hand, just like staying with one player, you won't be in every play on D. As Robert Quinn, I'll get double-teamed and I'm pretty much out of a play and then you have to rely on the CPU making the plays. It can be frustrating, but I imagine that is also frustrating when taken out of a play in real life for a player. That's why I find there is more immersion and more feeling of reward by making a play while using the D cam.

Also, in CFM it'll be even more important to draft players that can play with the CPU controlling them and making plays while using the D cam and playing as your favorite player(s), rather than auto-switching instantly and making the play yourself. You can still switch quickly with the D cam though. I just find D cam adds freshness to the defensive battles overall. You feel more of a sense of actually becoming the player on the field contributing. Different strokes for different folks though.

I enjoy the view of the new D-cam but then the ball gets thrown downfield and everything starts twisting and turning, next thing you know I'm running away from the ball. I also love the view you get with the All-22 cam but it's just too far away, especially on runs up the middle. Next year I'd love to see them make this camera more dynamic. For example, once the ball is handed off zoom in to the ball carrier (on play action it could do a quick half zoom) then gradually zoom back out as you get into the open field. But anyway, for now I'll be sticking with the old cameras.

I usually use the new ones, especially the high zoomed out one! I also like the player lock on defence a lot.

When I play competitively I'll probably have to use the old cams, but playing the CPU man, the new cams are so freaking fun.

I love the new D cam especially when using defensive ends, makes the battles seem so much more intense.

I'm starting out with a defensive tackle/end so I can get used to the new camera angle. I might move to linebacker when later.

The new camera had definitely made playing defense more challenging and enjoyable.

defense is actually fun now with the D/zoom cam. great graphics make video games fun, man.
