    NBA 2K15 - Spurs Ratings

    San Antonio Spurs
    90 - Tim Duncan (+3)
    88 - Tony Parker (+2)
    85 - Kawhi Leonard (+3)
    83 - Manu Ginobili (-3)
    78 - Danny Green (+4)
    78 - Boris Diaw (+12)
    77 - Tiago Splitter (+7)
    77 - Patrick Mills (+8)
    75 - Marco Belinelli (+9)
    73 - Cory Joseph (+9)
    73 - Matt Bonner (+12)
    67 - Jeff Ayres (+4)
    67 - Austin Daye (+4)

2K announced last week that only four players would have a 90 rating. Kevin Durant (95), LeBron James, and Chris Paul are widely considered the top three, but the 4th player has been a bit of a mystery, with many fans speculating Dwight Howard or Carmelo Anthony. It appears that Tim Duncan is the 4th player, which makes some sense. Duncan just lead the Spurs to their 5th championship, and 2K's formula alleges to value defense and other role player qualities that Duncan continues to possess despite his declining offensive role.

Manu Ginobili is the first player to see an OVR decrease out of the 61 players revealed so far.

Sorry, but Duncan is no 90. Yes he is very productive, but all Players on the Spurs are - because of their System. Look how Danny Green for example played on other Teams vs the Spurs Green... 38 year old Duncan would not look nearly as good on another Team.
But well, its always hard to rate real Teams like the Spurs or the 2011 Mavs, that not rely on 1-2 Superstars.

Well, technically they said 4 players over 90 and Duncan is a 90 so there are still 3 over that. Meaning Duncan isn't the 4th best.

Has Tim Duncan ever actually declined? Or have his minutes simply been limited to extend his career...

Checkout the latest stats of Tim Duncan. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, draft status, shoots, school and more on Basketball-Reference.com

Besides, it's Tim Duncan, one of the best NBA players of all time that rarely translates to 2K games, because similar to how he plays in real life you need SKILL to use him something a vast majority of the 2K community lacks.

When a thread comes along titled, 'Tim Duncan is OP!!1!1' because he's doing Dwight Howard things I'll know him being a 90 merits some complaints.

I'm ok with that. I just am interested even more to see what LeBron, CP3, Melo and a few other stars rating's will be.

I'm predicting a 97 for LeBron, 94 for CP3, and maybe an 89 for Melo..

I like the ratings so far, though.

Wow, huge Duncan fan but he's not quite at that level anymore..

This new ratings system might be pretty great after all.. The older guys fell off far too quickly on the older games, despite still being "team leaders".

I actually like this. So its KD. Lebron. Duncan and unknown. I'm done guessing tho

Not saying Duncan doesn't deserve it but I sure hope they meant their exact words in saying only four players with 90 PLUS ratjng seeing how Duncan is a 90. KD a 95 and melo anything lower than a 90 to me would not make sense. He is not THAT much better than melo. Glad Duncan getting props though. They also said ratings show value to ones team. So does that mean people who carry their team on their back will automatically be in 90s? Cause again melo, KD, and bron the only ones who fit this category
