As far as I'am concerned VC is fine. It makes them more revenue to invest in their next game and doesn't affect me one bit. I feel it might also prevents them from splitting their game into DLC's (like euroligue DLC, legends DLC and so on)... But that might not be true at all.

I understand that VC make them a lot of extra revenue beyond what the game itself sells for. But my problem with VC is that it shouldn't be in mycareer! You shouldn't have buy your way to 90ovr just to avoid being slaughtered in the park. I also believe you shouldn't have to pay for gear, shoes, etc. I just think that people who choose not to pay to win shouldn't be at a constant disadvantage.

LMAO.... really dude? They make millions off VC, it's not going anywhere. Now you do have a point with the the MyPark part, but people pay for it, 2k won't get rid of it. The one thing I am shocked is the 2k allows you earn VC in every game mode. It's not hard to get just play the game. Unlike FIFA where the only way to earn coins is in FUT.

On the other hand you should not have to spend hours grinding just to avoid being slaughtered in the park.

I just miss the days of skill points, and being able to edit my player the way I want without having to pay for it. I definately don't expect 2k to ever get rid of VC, but I believe we the community have a loud voice and 2k has listened and is listening to us. It all starts here. It's a long shot yes, but sometimes long shots payoff.

I do miss the skill point system too. I was playing 2k12 on PC back then and if you couple it with cheat engine you can just give yourself enough points to act like your the consensus 1st round pick, a diamond in the rough, a scrub, or the impossibly best player to ever live. You can also use CE to lock in slider values that carried over to the MyPlayer mode.

Perhaps next year they will consider an offline MyCareer mode that won't come with the risk of overwriting your online Pro, complete with a healthy dose of SP rewards.

Oh, and sliders too!

You don't have to pay for it. Its the same thing as the XP, except it's used across all game modes. It's not hard to earn, Just play games.

I know you don't have to pay for it, but if you want gear right away, or want to be able to compete on the park, you have to buy VC.

I have zero issue with the VC system as long as it is well balanced. This year's balance of VC cost/gain is pretty damn good IMO, and the MyGM changes were excellent.

One thing I was worried about VC wise going in was when they talked about upgrading badges in career, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the upgrades are very cheap compared to how expensive signature skills could be in past games.

If you asked me last year, I would have signed immediately. You couldn't even change your lineups without vc. But this year, I think they balanced it well. It is not necessary in any mode except for my player. The only things you can by with vc are clothes and accessories. And you earn vc when playing my gm games so it is very easy to buy the clothes and things you want from the store and use the vc from myplayer games to upgrade your myplayer.

Play quick games, you get 650 for 6 min qtrs. Like others, I feel it's really balanced and the fact they took it out of MyGm like it was last year, shows they do listen. You do have to play the game to make your player good. If not, you do have the option to buy VC, but by no means do you have to buy VC.
