Because this is the last regular season thread, and because SB Nation is ran by geniuses, something special to close the year out on:

Re: Week 15/Conference Championship Discussion
Mizzou has two of the craziest losses IMO this year…how did they lose at home to Indiana and get blanked by Georgia?"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Re: Week 15/Conference Championship Discussion
Of course I'll have a little bias here, but I think Michigan state has a legit chance to make the playoff still. Same with Kansas State and Mississippi State. If Baylor, Ohio State, and Florida State lose (strong possibility), I think we could slip in to that 4 spot. But it would probably go to Kansas State, considering if the best Baylor. BUT ALL 3 of those teams would have to lose.Comment

Re: Week 15/Conference Championship Discussion
Friday night and Saturday night are going to be very, very interesting.
All I can think of are stupid cliches to say here, but I really want Arizona and Georgia Tech to win. The chaos would just be too much fun!
Not so sure how I feel about Ohio State with Cardale in at QB but Barrett surprised me...I could see it happening again. Wisky's offense after Gordon doesn't inspire much fear in me personally.Comment

Re: Week 15/Conference Championship Discussion
BTW, it sucks that I have a huge, massive final exam on Saturday from 3:30-6:30. Bad timing. And it's going to be a hell of an exam, too, so there's no blowing anything off. Then I have two more on Monday and Tuesday, so Saturday night isn't going to offer much opportunity for football watching, unfortunately. This is grad school now, so I can't blow this stuff off like I used to in undergrad and had this type of situation.

UCONN/SMU could be kind of awesome. It will be a sort of a toilet bowl between the two worst teams in the American (including what is probably the worst team in the country).Comment

What kind of grad program has finals on a Saturday?!?BTW, it sucks that I have a huge, massive final exam on Saturday from 3:30-6:30. Bad timing. My program just has me do 3 major projects instead...so while I don't *have* to do anything on Saturday, I probably should.Comment
