I don't know how anyone who watched the games thought Hoyer gave us the best chance to win. Even a rookie making a bad start is likely to be better than what Hoyer has done the past 3 games.

Starting Manziel, IMO, was the right move now and the future. Hoyer has been exposed as a backup QB, which is fine, but if you are playing your backup for 14 games, then this is what ultimately will happen.

If anything, I think they destroyed the team's playoff chances by giving Hoyer the reigns until he pretty much destroys all hope. And he did exactly that.
