PUTTING THE โFโ BACK
The year is 2014. The month is April. Wrestlemania 30 has just taken place and Daniel Bryan has defeated the odds in becoming the new WWE World Champion. The unthinkable happened and Undertaker was defeated for the first time in WM history. Brock Lesnar โthe Beast Incarnateโ picked up the one in 21-1. With a new era beginning there are some big surprises in store for the WWE roster.
A mystery investor has come in out of nowhere and bought WWE. The first huge piece of news is that WWE will ONCE AGAIN be known as WWF. Rumor has it that this mystery investor made a very LARGE donation to the World Wildlife Fund of Nature for the rights of the letters WWF. The Wildlife Fund will now be known as WWFN. The new investor has stated that Vince McMahon lost touch with reality and the business and he is here to bring things back to what made wrestling great. No more with some of the silly gimmicks, things are about to get serious now. As of now the investor has stated that he has no plans on revealing himself at any time and the name listed on the official document is WWF Trust. The investor has stated that he will be bringing in some more people with a better wrestling mind to actually run things and will have huge announcements on RAW this week. A new emphasis on Women and Tag Teams will tag place as well as making the midcard titles meaningful and a possible stepping stone to the top.
With that being said, the investor has also stated that NXT will remain the official developmental fed for WWE. The investor also has made some huge signings for WWE and NXT, International Superstars Prince Devitt, KENTA, and the Young Bucks, as well as former NWA and TNA World Champion AJ Styles. He has also stated that he has resigned a couple of former WWE superstars for the new WWF. Several wrestlers have also been future endeavored as they didnโt feel like going NXT to improve.
One of the next things to address are the, as the new investor said, โGOD AWFULโ title belts. First the butterfly belt will be no more and the Womenโs Champions will be returned. The United States and Intercontinental Belts will remain the same. As far as the tag titles are concerned we will be bringing back one of the more aesthetically pleasing title belts but that decision is still being made and will be presented on RAW. And finally, the World Champion deserves a single title belts that represents being the best. With that being said, the investor has stated that they have narrowed things down to 4 possible belts to return and that will be announced on RAW. Those 4 choices are the โBig Goldโ World Championship Belt, the iconic Winged Eagle, the Attitude Era Winged belt, and the Undisputed Championship belt.
The PPV schedule will be changing as well. There will be no TLC PPV, no Hell in a Cell PPV and others will change as well. Debates are still up regarding whether or not there will be an actual elimination chamber PPV. Two other huge items in PPV news are the return of King of the Ring in June and Survivor Series will return to its original format of ALL Survivor Matches.
With all of that being said, WELCOME TO A NEW ERA.
