All current uniforms should be in the game. If that means leaving out some throwbacks, so be it. Plain and simple.

Yeah, it's not that plain or not that simple. Just because that is how you believe is should be does not make it so. As soon as you remove Historical Jerseys to have every current alternate uniform then a whole different group of fans will start complaining.

This is disastrous. I only play with the M's and Giants so not having these jerseys in the game makes it broken to me.

I'm hoping that maybe cranking up the movement on the 4SFB will affect the run on it a bit making 0 a true 4SFM and 99 a running FB. I hope that movement has some affect on the 4SFM run at least. Even just for aesthetics I'd rather have 4SFB be listed instead of running FB. I'm sure some players will need to have running since from the streams it doesn't seem like the 4SFM runs that much.

So many people in this forum with rose colored glasses when it comes to this game. I don't even care that much but to defend the decision is kind of ludicrous to me.

How can anyone actually defend the decision that was made to not include the new alternative jerseys? What audience did they use to get the telemetry data? Was it online players only? Offline Franchise players? How can you say you have accurate alternative/throwback according to their real life tendencies during franchise mode when you don't even include the alternate jerseys that will be wearing but keeping throwbacks that won't? The online community is different than the offline franchise mode players and following the real-life tendencies for alternate jerseys makes a difference for one and not the other.

Anyway, I don't think anyone is defending anyone. They just simply stated good or bad, negative or positive, it's ultimately the developers decision what they put in their game. They chose to use analytical data to go with the majority of users. Sounds pretty Democratic to me... Unfortunately, you fall in the minority, which in case, you kinda have to deal with it.

Pretty much. I'd love for the team to spend time reworking certain parts of the game, but others may not feel that way. I express what I want to see done, but understand that what was worked on is out of my control. Sony and the dev team want to convince people to buy the game, appeasing the most diehard fans isn't really the best use of resources since, to be frank, diehard fans will buy the game regardless of what gets added in.

Adding alternate jerseys = $$$

It's that simple. They spent that money on something else, maybe something in the game you really like and would hate to see gone.

As a Giants fan it sucks that the alternate isn't in, BUT...what I will do and suggest others do is just use the batting practice jerseys on days you want to wear black. Yes it's different with the orange in the sides and the lettering is different but atleast you have black jerseys to wear in the meantime

It's not a big deal to me. Just don't claim to try and mimic real-life tendencies for alternate jersey's for offline franchise mode then. Kind of contradicts itself when they make a choice they did.

Do you have numbers on how often the new alternate jerseys were worn vs the alternates already in the game?

yeah its probably capped, and don't forget that arm angle is a factor as well.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that movement has a strong influence on pitch confidence, maybe that's something that can be looked at in the future (making it strictly command based is ideal).

Are you sure it's not a big deal to you? Because that post reads more like emotion than logic.

Of course they can claim they are trying to mimic real-life tendencies for uniforms in franchise since, you know, that's exactly what they are doing. Whether or not a specific jersey makes it as a priority based on their user data has nothing to do with the logic used for the ones that are there. It sounds like they simply made a judgment call based on user data and current resource limitations/priorities.

It's perfectly reasonable to be unhappy with the choice the devs made, but crying foul when they continue to try and get the best possible outcome within the chosen framework is not.
