    Unlikely Mashers

I am absolutely beasting with Stephen Drew. In 4 games i've hit 5 homers with him. Everyone else so far i'm using has been average production. Anyone else have an unlikely hero hitting the cover off the ball?

I haven't gotten started on a franchise mode just yet this year, but last year in the second season of my franchise Jordy Mercer was my World Series MVP. He hit .340 with at least 4 home runs if I remember correctly.

another surprising one for me is George Kottaras right now hes playing first base due to me losing adam lind to a fractured hand. Traded a low prospect for him and hes hitting .462 with 6HR 19RBI in 21 Games

I've hit two homeruns in Diamond Dynasty with Ben Revere, one of them a walkoff. It probably doesn't get much more unlikely than that.

considering he has little to no power that is lol

although i had a walk off HR of the pinch hit variety with Adeiny Hechavarria who was injured and he also doesnt have much power. pretty much hitting with everyone in my Marlins franchise execpt Stanton but hes turning it around lol started 0-22

Pretty realistic. You always see someone hit 5 homers the first week of the season...and end up with 7.

For some reason I have a tough time with LH hitters, undoubtedly against LHP's. That doesn't seem to apply to Brandon Belt or Adam Lind however.

Carl Crawford has been raking it for me. Most HR's/RBI's on a Dynasty team which also includes Ernie Banks and Fred McGriff.

Xander Bogaerts has been an absolute stud for me. I started my Red Sox franchise yesterday. I play a game, then simulate 6, and play another. That way I am using each pitch in the order (granted they don't get injured) and still move along at a good pace. Anyway, in the first game of the season Bogaerts went 4-4 with 3 HRs and a Double and 4 RBIs. I simulate the 6 games and play another one and he still only has 3 HRs so he didn't do much during the simulation. In the second game I player with him he goes 4-5 with a HR and 3 Doubles. I don't know what it is, but I kill it with him

In terms of raw power vs expected results, Ryan Sweeney. A little hit or miss on the average but he puts them in the seats more than he should.

I absolutely mash with Yasmani Grandal. He's a pretty good hitter already, but I'm hitting .300 with 7 homers through twenty games.

Juan Uribe! I'm in the second month of my Dodgers season and have moved him into the clean-up spot. Batting .338 with 9 Bombs!
